At any other company he would have been terminated by now for HR issues.

He was a documented HR nightmare at Salix.

I’m one of the few in the West Area who isn’t on a plan and Kevin kisses my a** . What numb-nuts doesn’t know is that I’m making it rain with two jobs!

What a cocksmooch. Give me a break. Good luck on getting anyone who will want to work for a jerkoff like you. Mark my words management is next. If they can’t keep and motivate good people the blame is on them.

i left because management here is a joke. They flex their muscles but fail to be helpful. They hire managers that don’t know the first thing about management. Zero people skills. Plenty of finger pointing. Training sucks too. Small Pharma with the hopes of a buyout. Terrible-Terrible-Terrible management. Herm, wake the fuck up before your golden parachute catches fire and you free fall with the rest of these jerk off middle managers who think they are about to hit it big with stock options. Glad to be out of this dump, making 60k more in base alone with a phat expense account, company car and options that are actually worth six figures.
Never again will I ever work for a company that doesn’t have good leadership in place. Lesson learned! Good luck to all the good peep still working under the terrible leadership that’s in place.

The accelerated revenue growth being reported by the company does not jive with the comments on this thread. Any indication of why CafePharma seems to think this company is struggling but reported numbers are strong?

Accelerated revenue growth, seriously?! Price increases combined with verbal threats to the sales force and PIP’s will not sustain growth over the long term.

I get it. Not a fanboy, just trying to figure out what is going on. So do you believe it is all price increases and rebate programs driving the growth or is there something else happening under the hood?

Let’s be honest, this company and the management team is not the most ethical in the industry. Do your homework and draw your own conclusions on what’s happening.

Is it wholesale channel stuffing like Salix got caught doing?

If that’s what they are doing that would explain the 150% increase in my film count goal this quarter compared to last quarter. They jack up our goals to meet their numbers and then threaten to fire us because they got greedy and loaded the wholesalers on inventory and it’s not moving out the doors fast enough. That explains A LOT. Also no one is making the jacked up goal so they get out of paying us bonus. Shady bastards!

Well I just didn’t/don’t know how to reconcile the comments here about raising but missing goals, flat sales and the quarterly reports.

    Any other ideas?

Another question. Who do you and other sales people sell to? I figured most sales were thru wholesalers?

Given the management of this company nothing would surprise me.

It's a hedge fund guy, who's invested, going the extra mile trying to figure out if he made a solid decision or not. CP isn't the greatest resource for that btw as most people who visit here are disgruntled in some form or fashion or just bored and love drama. Sales people generate sales by asking doctors to write their product. The company actually sales to wholesalers like you mentioned which are distributors, ie McKesson, Cardinal, etc. Legally that's their only avenue. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct on the wholesalers however it is possible to manipulate the numbers with wholesaler buying patterns specifically at the end of the quarter,
