YUP. Pretty much sums up the attitude of our upper management team. Call us whiners, untalented old people. Ha! Just so you know, we all are well aware of how little you value your people. Let’s blame everyone else but ourselves. I guess when you destroy the company it is easier to blame everyone else except yourselves. No one would be this upset if you actually ran this company like people who actually have a clue. Stop projecting.

Backorders, backorders and more backorders. Who is responsible for backorders again? The sales reps? I think not. How are we supposed to sell if 50% of our products are on backorder? We are being set up to fail. Get your shit together behind the scenes and stop blaming the sales force. Idiots!

I heard it was 20,000 miles logged a week and 36 calls a day.

When the global employee survey results are at 56% it should open your eyes. That is just embarrassing. We scored low in all areas. This was a GLOBAL survey. So are all the Global employee’s also just a group of complainers? Perhaps there is actual truth to what is being said on this board.

The industrial revolution ended at the beginning of the 20th Century. You don't need consultants to tell you that well treated, LOYAL employees will perform at a much higher level than poorly treated, poorly compensated employees. There. I just saved you a million dollars.

If the actual survey data shows 56%- the real number is probably more like 36%. Poor you. One day, this company will make for a great case study of how not to run or business. Guaranteed. So many sophomoric mistakes, making the same failed decisions over and over again and expecting different results. Some of the decisions made by the management team are so "off" as not even to be believable. Pathetic.

So true. It is not rocket science. Treat and pay your employees well and you will quickly see things change for the better. I feel like we are demeaned and told nothing is ever good enough no matter what we do. Just saw that Sharon Dietrich will be heading up the “transformation program” where the key focus is on our people, building people and change processes required to make this a better place to work. Sharon Dietrich is part of the problem. She is the one that heard the same complaints from reps leaving the company over and over and over again and did not bother to fix or change a thing relating to valuing employees. She needs to go and fresh new blood that actually knows what HR and valuing your people and fairness in practices actually means. She has done a piss poor job. I can’t tell if this is a promotion or a demotion but she has no business being involved in any way. She had her chance and she did nothing. Like someone above said. Let them eat cake. I 100% believe if this survey was conducted in march we probably would have scored 10%. We didn’t even get our comp plan or Cognos until May. People are more pissed off than ever. We are sick of the abuse on the war room calls. Let us get out there do our job.

This company does not give a shit about loyalty. Not anymore. There was a time that was valued. In the past 2 years it has felt like the loyal, consistently performing reps are the ones that get overlooked and treated dispensable and the little newby reps that kiss up and brown nose are treated like gold. Look at the overall picture and not what someone did one year and got lucky. It infuriates me. Sharon Dietrich did nothing. Get rid of her. I do not want her anywhere near the transitional change to make things better. She has not made them better thus far. What makes anyone think she will now.

It seems you have to really suck to get anywhere at the new Convatec.

Agree with the previous posters Sharon is a disaster. She has allowed RSMs to remain after many long-term reps have given exit interviews unfavorable to them.

How the hell was Catherine K ever put in as a lead in Training? She never had a clue. She made for a great actress, but unlimitedly Stevie Wonder could have seen that she had no clue about training or the business. Both of these a holes couldn't give a crap about the company. Thank god Catherine was not promoted. What a shame Sharon was.

How can people be blaming performance on new reps? Have you guys seen the results for the past 12 months? The company can't sell anything, so no wonder they want to bring in some fresh blood

Who is blaming new reps? The blame is on Leadership for the past 12 months. We have more backorders than we can keep track of. The behind the scenes are a mess. No marketing team. So much disorganization and zero vision. The employee survey told you the same thing exact thing. When will the denial end. You have your best reps leaving on the daily. They are smart enough to get out. Stop blaming the sales team when you as a leadership team have not provided the field the tools to succeed. Funny many of us have been here for several years and we were successful and the company was successful. Stop blaming everyone else. There is so much to be fixed and the sales force is not one of those things.

Lol. Let’s see how that fresh blood will do for you. Fucking morons. We are literally being led by a group of useless morons that do not even articulate a clear vision. That is why the employee survey was 56%. I am positive the US scored even lower. No value put on employees. Even now. Where is the ownership?

I do not get paid enough to do the amount of travel and repetitive reports, war room and no purpose quickbase entries. My work life balance is non existent. Forcing people to not give a shit.

Its about time the S HIT hit the fan. No Avelle sales, No growth in WC or SCD, backorders worse than ever in ostomy, no communication or direction at all for months at a time from sales management (Mary), crazy territory alignments, Cognos all messed up, useless call reporting system, incompetents retained while top talent leaves in droves. Of course there's gonna be change. There won't be anything left to fix without significant change. No change = No Convatec. Too many (incompetent) chiefs and terrified Indians. Please Rick- make the changes that are necessary to let Convatec survive. 56% should CLUE YOU IN that something major has to be changed.
