Chief Compliance Officer Daryl - You're an idiot!

Wow what a great way to motivate people! He is just yet another example of the tyrants that run this place. Game? This is no game. This is an attempt to scare so many people so they won't be embarrassed in front of the whole company. This company is so lame and everyone on my team is looking for a new job right now. They are going to lose so many good people and it is their own fault. No one is motivated this way. No one is excited anymore. No one wants to work under these conditions. This is nothing more than an overly managed and narrow-minded two bit biotech wanna-be and will never be, company.

 

I agree! They treat us like children here. This is insulting and degrading. If this is what it is going to be like around here, I am better off going back to my old job. Daryl is a huge part of the problem and is only going to make it even more difficult for everyone involved. He is at the extreme end of the spectrum and no other company takes compliance to this level. The problem is that these idiots have no idea what it is like in the real world. They have never played in the sandbox. This company has been the epitome of justifying their jobs. All this busy work they make people do simply distracts from what is needed. So sad. I hate it here too.

 

You hit the nail on the head my friend. Have you looked at his past work experience? JOKE. I know Daryl and he is the biggest blowhard you will ever meet. This is an attempt to make a name for himself. You can tighten the reins so much that people begin to choke. This isn't the cool environment they wanted everyone to believe. Good news is that the beginning of the new year brings about many new company opportunities. Scratch this up to a big mistake and find a job that isn't ruled by idiots like this. We all made a mistake coming here. On one of the other threads, someone made a wise observation. Look at where many of these characters came from in upper management. Not so impressive when you dig a little and see what unimpressive companies they came from. Friends hiring friends etc. There isn't a lot to respect from many of these folks yet they are going to lay down the gauntlet to us. First and foremost, your work experience shouldn't be threatening from the top down. Daryl wants to put on his show. There has never been a time in my professional career where a compliance officer reaches out company-wide with threats of preparedness and calling people up on stage. Just do your damn job and do your compliance presentation and call it a day. We don't need you smug, diva-like moment on stage so you can make yourself relevant. UNIMPRESSED.

Darryl is a tyrant and too over the top. He disrespected the female presenter and spoke over and corrected her several times. Why even have her on then? He has pushed the compliance shit to the unnecessary extreme and to what no other companies require. He is clueless to the realities of today and this industry in the real world setting. Bad hire. Very Bad hire. I can't even listen to his nauseating voice anymore. Can this job be even worse? Fun is not synonymous with Sage.

 

The management here in Boston works mostly from home waiting for a buyout to occur. Most folks have zero respect for any of them.

 

That is 100% Accurate! The funny thing about this company is NO ONE is reachable by phone in corporate. They are just waiting for the buyout. It has nothing to do about the patient.

Sometimes we can’t take a call because of our busy schedules. I was triple booked on my cal this week with strat meetings. Let us do what we do best and we will share in the success. It is very true unfortunately. Even for the most basic requests, you can never get a live person. It is very unprofessional. I don't think I have ever worked someplace where there are more sales reps actively looking for new jobs than here. Everyone I trust and confide in are working with recruiters and interviewing elsewhere. It sucks here.

 

After Darryl's call, it spread like a wildfire and people really are eager to leave. There is going to be many resignations soon. There is no great future here.
