Tell us! I've been with the company for a little over a year and I've heard nothing. I've been reading on here and my mind is blown.

The only things you are going to hear on this website are lies, slander and complaining. This is a site for reps with an axe to grind against Applied to come cry on. They either were fired because they couldn't cut it or they are lazy and expecting the upper management to do their work for them. They want everything handed to them. My advice is be like the top reps in the company and be in the OR every single day selling. You'll fair much better than sitting on this site in Starbucks listening to a bunch of lazy reps tell lies.

DG, is that you bald fella? How’s your wife been? Did someone hit a nerve? Btw, who are the top reps here? Turnover is so rampant, that one of the territories in my zone has had 11 new reps in the past 8-9 years! Nobody stays here and you know it. You and those other clowns at the top should be investigated to the fullest extent of the law for the lies you’ve told previous reps over the years. You’re worse than the AIDS or Ebola virus and you’re a horrible excuse for a human being you scumbag.

I find it pretty comical that you lazy reps get on here and just throw out accusations against men and women who are lightyears more accomplished than any of you on here. You all like to pretend you have this dirt on someone, but yet it's always just a hollow threat. Truth is there are no salacious stories or any thing of fact. It's all just lazy reps trying to smear those who have surpassed them in life. There's a lot of smoke, but there's no fire. Now get of your butts and get in the OR where the best reps are and sell something.

Preach Grosshans! The truth is you didn’t leave US Surgical on good terms. Why don’t you tell Cafepharma the true story because more than a “few bad apples” are talking about it here. And btw, you’re not “lightyears” ahead of anybody. You blew the right people to get ahead and kissed Said’s ass to get where you are. The truth is you couldn’t find a job anywhere else if your life depended on it.

Any guesses as to what the next idea will be after the morons running this company realize that the signature form idea is beyond retarded and doesn't work?

I've successfully obtained signatures from EVERY surgeon who uses LigaSure at a 5 OR hospital. They all said they would have no problems using it. Materials people are on board, BUT, because they are part of a system...NOPE! Not going anywhere. When will Applied learn that just because you have everyone on board they aren't just going to roll over and give us the business. I knew this would happen but I did it to prove a point. My idiot manager just says they are dumb for not seeing who we are and how we do business. We seriously work for a bunch of clowns.

I can’t say enough on how humbling to be part of Applied. The only last Med device company with products made in the US of A!

Does Applied really think that laparoscopy is going to continue? You had a rep who looked like she was right out of college talking about RF energy to a surgeon I know really well. He was polite to her, but when she walked away he commented on how that company(Applied Medical) is a joke. Because I'm professional I made a comment about how I remember when I was starting out and we moved along. I'm not going to blame the girl, but still thinking that laparoscopic surgery is the wave of the future is moronic. Why on earth did you all create an Ligasure knock-off? Mark my words, in 5 years laparoscopy will be looked at the same way you look at open surgery today. Trash the robot all you want, tell surgeons that it costs so much. You can't attack the fact that is clinically superior and the future.

You’re post above was spot on and I would concur that you did the right thing not trash talking the 23 y/o girl. Everyone needs to start out somewhere. Applied Medical is definitely a joke and hasn’t been looked at as a good company for a multitude of reasons for at least 8-9 years now (just read any of the posts on here). The only part that I would disagree with you on it is that the robot is not “superior.” It has its indications and COULD save the surgeon time and/or provide a better result in certain cases. There are MANY surgeons (OB/GYN’s) who should not be using the robot, and Intuitive has done a phenomenal job marketing the robot over the past decade, but every hospital has at least one now, and in some of the smaller hospitals, they’re nothing more than 1.5M dollar paperweights. But back to Applied Medical......yeah, it wouldnt surprise me if that Nazi CEO you have finally sells in the coming years because there is no future for them. All they have is the Alexis & Gel products.

Two things I'll disagree with you on. 1.) the owner is more like Stalin. The company is run like a Soviet satellite state, plus their technology is years behind everyone else. It's very fitting.

2.) The owner will never sell the company for a number of reasons. Cash flush(yes, everyone likes to bash AM but it's true Said is very cash flush so there's no reason to sell), who would buy it? I can't think of a company who would want to acquire AM? What are you acquiring? Voyant? L-O-L. Gel...that ship has sailed, trocars? dying market. Would you buy to eliminate a competitor? AM is nothing more than an annoyance to the big boys, not a threat. So unless I'm missing a reason why someone would want to buy AM I don't think he could sell it.

Also, for clarity I did not post the previous post so as to not muck up this thread.
