Company is a Joke!

  1. This company is a joke now. Same old products with no R&D. Keep buying products without any market research. New product Otiprio is a good product but not covered and expect Peds to purchase blindly!

Only a few good managers left and they are not happy! None of them are! Upper management are scarce and just waiting on their exit papers. They have left so many good/loyal reps leave that it is not possible to rebound. Have so many spots open that they could have kept all of the people they let go (reorganized) . They sold Alamo which is all of training! We have no trainers! None! Meaning, reps haven’t certified to sell these products!

I will wait to expose the other things because I am pretty sure when the other employees see this, they will agree! I will just say they need to remove the rest of the crew! I am speaking of the !!! Crew!

    What are the other things

The Directors and Vp are on Vacation more than the DMs and reps. All of them have home offices. They don’t communicate with their DMs . They consistently give limited or false information. It has been the theme and has been said that “if you want to leave because you want more money, leave! Because it doesn’t matter how hard you work, or how well you do, you will never make more than what I give you)”. I agree with the title of this thread, “Company is a Joke”!

P.S. I don’t think the family deserves this!

Agreed. I'm trying desperately to find a new job asap. The job market is just real tough right now. If I'm still here by the end of August I'll be pretty surprised and miserable

I am a DM here and will respond that many of the things you have said regarding r&d and getting new drugs that can be promoted with reimbursement is true. But putting all the blame on the sales directors and vps and no blame to the family is ridiculous. The leadership team has been open and honest with us on the challenges at Mission. And like us they hate seeing good people leave and having to let people go. My Sd has always been open and honest with me as I have with my reps. With the Derm products no longer producing significant $ the company took a hit. All the other investments of the additional companies did not make money. The family makes the decisions on what and if we add new products or companies. They also have final say on anything that happens here so don’t throw rocks if you don’t know what your talking about. And as far as making more money right now if you don’t like it here then quit bitching and leave.

I felt nothing was open. It was radio silence from management

All blame can not be on the Management but when you don’t communicate with your reps or DMs, it starts with them. They blame the family and I agree that you have some that are honest. I am not sure why they would even want to have a Pinnacle trip. What motivational message could they give. The WH Director is so out of the loop with her team it is ridiculous. There is no training team. You don’t know who to call for HR. You have people (Reps) on teams who just don’t care and know they can’t get in trouble for not producing. They have turned this company into a circus. Someone said if you don’t like it, just quit. Well it doesn’t work like that. We have families. They haven’t had 401k for almost a year. This is a pharmaceutical company!

Where is Ron? Where is Donna? Where is John? Where is David? Where is Steve? Silence from all! What are the expectations they want us to do? Who is over HR? This is a dumpster fire!

This post is extremely accurate and truthful. Well done. The culture at this Company use to be great but now is non existent

This thread is very accurate! Nepotism is real here. I do think some people have put stayed there performance and they have allowed some really good people leave who actually cared about numbers and the well being of this company. I heard reps are joining up leaving together going to other companies. Managers have had it and like the response above from the DM, the message is “ if you don’t like it, quit bitching and leave”! I wonder if they say that in the interviews! The sure didn’t tell me that when I started. They sold me on culture and family. I have only witnessed 1 meeting and while I thought it was a bit much it was really refreshing to see everyone. Haven’t had a meeting/poa in 2 years. Don’t even have national calls or town halls any more. Heartbreaking!

I feel sorry for those who have stayed. My manager was awesome and you can tell it has took a toll on him. All the changes and lying will do that. The family seem like genuine good people that wanted everyone to do well. The upper management didn’t even talk to us. I have been with this company for 5 years and Ron has not even spoke to me. I don’t even know who the women’s health Director is. I do know Golbie and Bear. I even met the father. Grandkids were at the last meeting 2 years ago and they seem normal. I think they still are involved. You can see that Steve only deals with a certain crowd. He was never really involved or seem to care about our division just titles. Stuart seems like he is a good guy he seem real corporate. The managers over all seem to have taken the biggest hit of all . 5 DMs left in 1 year? In heard of? How do you motivate reps to be better if we don’t want our managers job! Sales 1.0!

    Cambia
    Elestrin
    Binosto

    3 bad products. Especially binosto.

Otiprio is really a good product but doctors want to know what the reimbursement is and we can't tell them because we don't know.

Go out of the chain of command and it is like you committed a federal crime.

    Limited samples with no explanation.

    NO communication.

Reps in the field tell management what is needed and it falls on deaf ears.

Terry Herring tried to make Mission like big pharma and it has been a disaster.

Need to get rid of a few more of the high ups.

Who should they get rid of?

Layoffs are most likely around the corner, there is no way the company can sustain unless everyone just leaves first

I think the end is near. I heard there are a few calls scheduled for tomorrow. I haven’t received an invite. I guess I’m safe ... for now.

So are they going to reinstate 401k? They got rid of almost 1 million in salary with 4 people. And probably another 3 million with the reps they cut. Not going to speak on bonus because they are probably still in the negative because that’s how bad our bonuses are.

Once something is taken away its very rare that it returns. I would say you have a better shot at winning the lottery vs a returning 401k. Best bet if you stay it to look into an IRA

Best bet is to R U N as fast as you can and don't look back. Good luck.

What I can’t understand is how they chose who stayed and who left. We had some really good reps to leave and some terrible reps to stay. We have reps who literally don’t contribute to the bottom line and don’t care about making a bonus. Those are the ones who should be gone. The ones who just collect a salary check. The ones who complain and come on here and stir up shit about how bad things are and how they don’t get to go to the Bahamas anymore.

So where does the company move to now? What’s their direction?
