Hello DM________, I just had a fantastic call with Dr. __________ and I went over the MOA of__________. Dr. XYZ said the competition was in yesterday and they claimed they cause no harmful nostril odors and flatulance. I asked if Dr. XYZ was concerned with nostril odors and flatulance and I followed up by showing the Fartello Study. I then used the iPad to go over the Wally Patient Profile and asked Dr. XYZ if he had patients like Wally? He responded he has hundreds of patients like Wally and I asked him to trial _______ for those patients. He said of course and that he was really excited to give it a try. I then asked if I could go over our product with his nurses and MA's and he joyfully said yes! So the Fartello Study was very helpful and I am confident Dr. XYZ will start some new patients on ______ (DM copies message to District and RBD and says Fartello study should be used on every call) (RBD copies region and says this is a prime example of resource utilization and effective call planning) (Rep goes in office one week later and asks Dr. XYZ how the new starts are going? Doctor ducks rep and goes in patient room. MA comes out of room and says Dr. XYZ will not be seeing reps today)
this is funny... but sad at the same time. because feeding bullshit stories like this to your dm is everyday life.
Sadder still is the fact that the DM knows it is all bullshit and has to play along as we all ride the pharma train till the end -------------- single payer. How many reps are in Canada?
To all you naysayers and cynics: get a life. I have used the Fartello Study on every call with great success. As a survivor of UFS (Uncontrolled Flatuous Syndrome) I can assure you this is a real life issue with providers and patients! I find pathetic attempts at humor about this socially crippling disease state in very bad taste!
I agree! The Fartello Studio is a great sales aid. Unlike our competitor's study the Fartello study did not load the comparison arm with patients who had a fondness for frijoles and Taco Bell. I use graph 3.1 and point out the Relative Risk Reduction with Silent But Deadly Events. If you are not making your numbers you cannot say it is because brand is not giving you great resources!
It is a great product and Fartello is an impressive study but I think Janssen made a big mistake pulling the reps out of the Proctology offices! Just my 2 cents.
Competition is using the Pewfh Study and they pass gas in the sample closet before the Doctor comes in to sign for samples. Talk about manufacturing a home made sales aid! Highly unethical and casts a cloud over all of us!
Pewfh Study stinks! Dr Pewfh owns 14 Taco Bell Restaurants and always has reps cater from his franchise stores.
