Now they can't even reach out and take the talent and culture from the good I&I people to Ozanimod. What a cluster. Instead, they can now pretend to interview and in the end just pick up cast off talent from Biogen or Novartis.

Biogen is a cluster right now, people can’t abandon that ship fast enough. All the talented people left there 3 or 4 years ago. If this drug can’t even get those crappy people, it’s in big trouble.

 

Current Celgene 'talent' is what drove the company into the ground. The real talent was pushed out and driven away years ago by the newbies (from companies like Merck, Novartis and ratty CROs) who were brought in based on their lack of experience and subsequently promoted by themselves and their cronies into management, specifically in CR&D. They even made money in the process by receiving referral fees.
