We need more diversity, right now it is based upon skill sets, qualifications and connections. We need to make some big changes!

its definitely not based on past success or current success and the “new” criteria is still completely subjective and is based a great deal on popularity—- back to high school

Big difference. Popularity as a grown up is based on production and leadership. Maybe you have neither.

You are clueless- popularity is based on who drinks with who at POAs and who is the biggest bull slinger - trust me my successes have far exceeded yours

You don't know that! I average four legitimate calls per day ( all with my partner by my side...but still )...and I hit 100% quota attainment twice in the past five years. What have you done? So...Don't be making bold statements without backing them up next time buddy!

Sure. Sounds like a very self-serving view. That way, you can blame your lack of promotion on all sorts of things outside of your control, as opposed to getting better and earning a promotion.

And, you have no idea who I am, so you can save the “my successes have far exceeded yours” nonsense.

It has grown to an all new level. The current plan is hysterical. The number of EXECUTIVE reps is also hysterical. Recommendations: Kiss as much arse as humanly possible, send out emails to everyone and anyone who touches your business (it is one of the new Novo Essentials you missed memo), do 2 pharmacy calls a day, put in first call at 801am, last call at 502pm, don't oversample your ratio is being examined, also IVA use-you must really spend ample time there, and don't forget about team commitments to HSM, DE, EDCS, MSL; oh and don't forget that one pearl--because last time we checked "sales" reps were our titles--SELL your ARSE off. Maybe, just maybe....you too will win a promotion...

    Just what Novo doesn’t need.

Novo in the US has turned into a white supremacists wet dream!

That’s quite a claim. Be specific - what exactly do you mean?

    Examples? Surely you have one....

Yes, I have lots of examples. I am not going to detail personal experience because this is an anonymous site and, my examples can reveal who I am.

But one doctor mentioned to me that the diversity at Novo with regards to the field employees was so bad they had to write letters to the executives at Novo to bring their attention to the issue.

Ahhh...the “I have examples, but I won’t share them” approach. And, your anonymous doc that has a maximum of 2-3 people call on him probably lacks perspective to make comments on the entire field force. Regardless, a lack of diversity in the field is a LONG way from a claim of “white supremacy”. You’ll have to do better than that.

OMG one of my doctors was saying the same thing at our lunch today to other doctors. I told him that it’s wasn’t my fault that I have blonde hair and blue eyes.

Bro, I’m not saying it’s true but look around. This had to be engineered.

You are clueless or maybe let me guess, a white female with no non-white friends somewhere in the South or Mid West. Do you know that there are other pharmaceutical companies with field employees that call on the same doctors we do? Do you know that doctors in local geography know each other well? The statement made by the doctor can be valid based on the observation in the local geography he practice. It's funny how you concur there is a lack of diversity at the same time trying to dismiss the statements made in previous posts.

Well...I do live in the Midwest, but that’s about all you got right. I like how you like to paint me into an identity argument that fits your rhetoric on race. Also, I’d love to see these round tables where physicians are gathering to discuss the racial makeup of our sales force. Perhaps they don’t really exist except in your fantasy world. And, I never said there actually was a lack of diversity in the field; I simply stated that a lack of diversity in no way indicates white supremacy at a company. That’s another foolish statement. You’re going to have to do better. Your bs is running thin.
