Ok, we now all know they will announce the Otezla buyer soon. But does that mean we will divest before the BMS merge? Or will they drag it out until after?
    Anyone have an inside scoop

When they find a buyer, they'll enter into an agreement and get it approved by the FTC. They'll file for consent decree and the deal will close under the stipulation they divest in X amount of time.

So after the acquisition they will sell Otezla, not before.

Looks like Otezla reps are toast sooner than we thought! Mailing samples to offices is a great way to wean us out .....
    the end is near

An environmental group should sue Celgene for wasting paper! Every single Otezla rep is going to throw away those stupid cards they mailed us.

Because somebody else knows a secret shortcut to get any deal approved by the FTC and closed in less than 6 months? It’s ok, I was new once too

I don’t get it. Getting rid of all the Otezla reps makes the deal go faster?

BMY wants to divest quickly and cheaply. They don't want to lay anyone off now because that's an expense. They'd rather divest whole and let the acquiring company worry about it.

But go ahead and scream the sky is falling. Or better yet, call everyone in the district and tell them you predicted this years ago and make everyone new feel bad.

You are a negative cancer and you only win because your territory is twice the size of everyone elses.

There should be at least 2 more territories in Central Florida, but go ahead and think you are special.

First, thankful that I am don't have to be a Bristol Myers employee.
Second, I'd like the severance please. I could use the money and this place has jumped the shark. Unless you are in select states, there is no way to compete for the top spots anymore.
    Third, OSP sucks.
    That is all.
