I’m shocked that with so many PMRs now miserable under the new micromanagement from HELL, that no one has posted anything. By saying nothing, speaks volumes to leadership that the new big Pharma management style is ok. Well, it’s NOT. The number one way to kill productivity is to manage by fear and intimidation. The 90s way of doing things in big Pharma are long gone. And, ES is NOT big Pharma. Share of voice, riding with reps every other week to analyze their every move, and comment negatively on it. Does nothing but make reps. hate their job and the company. And what would the CEO who prides himself on running a company that puts integrity first, think if he knew how people are being investigated and then fired, or micromanaged out. That’s not how you treat anyone, with total disrespect and disregard. It seems this is all coming from One person, and everyone is following along like a bunch of lemmings. And by the way, your never going to move market share by doing the same things over and over again, and expecting a different result. That’s the definition of insanity. Shoving Challenger down PMRs throat and forcing them to see 7 or 8 providers a day, is going to blow up in everyone’s face. Wait until the providers get so annoyed that access starts shutting down. People deserve better than the old 90’s BS way of doing things. Think out of the box and you might just get to where you wanna be. A bright future, instead of stagnation.

Absolutely agree! This irresponsible behavior from senior leadership will be he downfall of Exact Sciences. The out of control spending on breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc is going to be discovered by Wall Street as wreck less and bad for business.

Challenger is a huge JOKE! Just wait for the mass exodus of phenomenal reps who refuse to be treated like slaves.

And to the Area Managers out there reading this thread...stand up for what is right! You all know this is not right!

100% agreed! Talk about them having an identity crisis. We are biotech company not pharma! Just because leadership was successful where they came from doesn’t mean they’ll be successful with that model here, ES is exceptionally different then pharma. Challenger! what a waste of money for this sales model. The concept can be used sparingly with customers but for every call that’s simply unrealistic. People are still not sold on the clinical or who to even offer the test to so how can we offer CG as a “solution” before they can even accept it as an option. The overwhelmingly funny part to me is how simple it would be for them to make their desired goal which is to listen to what their customers are asking for.. more data, diagnostic colo covered, compatibility with all EMR’s..
I believe Kevin and Sara are unaware of the disconnection coming from their “value system” and the new “value system” being implied by our new leadership. I believe our CEO really models our values and is an incredible leader, but unfortunately that is not what I’m seeing elsewhere and people are afraid to speak up for fear of losing their jobs.

Yep!!! And they will get sucked in based on false information, then either play the game, or end up forced out. Also, turnover is Very expensive, as is talent leaving, or being forced to leave. And it shows the mentality now, if you don’t like being treated like a sub human, leave...... because someone else will put up with it, yep, great “Culture”. You should be ashamed of such a callous reply, think about how productive people would be if they were treated with respect, and given reasonable goals. Is that really an unreasonable request ??

If you are fed up, then say something. Reach out to Kevin and Sara. Make sure the voice of the PMR is heard.

Someone has to be brave enough to stand up and fight.

Can you do that for me?

Will they actually take the company survey responses seriously? Will people answer seriously about how bad the culture has gotten?

Seriously, why don’t you all leave if you are so unhappy! This is the #1 Biotech in the industry. A bunch of ungrateful, spoiled, brats!

    Wow! Look!
The Bully is monitoring what everyone is saying.
Why don’t YOU LEAVE??? YOU are the one who DOES NOT FIT OUR AWESOME culture! You did not build this company. We did!
KC just doesn’t realize a wolf sneaked into HIS company. We don’t operate the way you do.
You will hopefully be escorted out soon before morale is destroyed permanently due to your caustic presence.

Wow!!! Ungrateful spoiled brats. I believe that definition would be: Millennials sitting in their parents basements in their jammies playing video games. Last I checked many of the people at Exact are the ones that built this company from the bottom up. Many of those same people gave their blood, sweat and tears for the mission, and were still treated like . Pun intended. The culture was great until recently. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out where it went wrong, and with whom. As people continue to get pushed out, retaliation will ensue, in some shape, form or manor.

Who exactly built this company from the bottom up?

Does anyone have a problem with the crazy money being spent on in services? And we claim to not be profitable yet?! How does that math work?

I think the point here is being missed “TROLL”... people want to stay because of the their commitment and belief in this company, the mission and what was an incredible leadership team. Obviously, with a start up things will change but when the CEO and VP of HR are saying one thing and everyone below them is singing a different tune that’s when the values system begins to break down. Now, this is where you should take note mr. or miss troll ... add some value and integrity back into the C-suite, walk the talk, value your incredible sales force, listen to the field, and your customers again and you’ll start to see that our goals far surpasses the moon shot goal, take the cuffs off.
Treating people badly will get you nowhere so name calling and bullying is the exact example of the original posts example of the disgusting and inappropriateness that is happening at the company. Who let the wolf in the house?

The people who are really responsible for sales numbers are Pfizer Reps. Exact wasn’t kicking tail until they were brought on.

Pfizer has definitely helped. Please CEO and VP HR...open your eyes and ears and put Exact back on the path of integrity!
