i wonder why this has not been announced? maybe they are finally getting some heat for relocating a J&J manager with no buy and bill experience. i heard half the fl team was in pinnacle let’s see how long it take them to go.... if they haven’t already.

What’s wrong with Bayer culture is pointy headed, pompous Germans only talk about it like the consultants have instructed them. Nothing will change - the arrogance will continue, the business will suffer and more will leave!

The WHC team is done - no new products and all the real leaders have left.

The so called pointy headed pompous Germans were not making WHC suffer. That was JS, LW and many of their other HO crew. I do not believe more will leave unless it is those that thought we didn't have a 'culture' problem in the first place. Those are the leaders that didn't care about their people or our patients. Frankly, if they leave, we only gain. Find a group of people who have a passion for a collective something (IUDs), enjoy working together and feel valued . That will make a successful.

Yes!! Agree. And listen to your salesforce when they tell you Hubble is a waste of time and money. We are on a better road. Sorry we had to lose some real talent before corrective action was taken. Welcome back CE.

What initiatives are there in Bayer to improve the culture?

Some select methods deployed by Bayer to improve culture:
    1. Bullying
    2. PIPs
    3. Manipulation
    4. Lying
    5. Inflating the truth
    6. Inflating a lie
    7. Instilling misery
    8. Ganging up
    9. Pretending that reality is not reality
    10. Repeating the same thing over and over, hoping it will be true

Until they get a few of these RBMs turned over and one ABD, this is what we have. Wondering when Nelson and Chelsea will look at and address the culture feedback. It has quietly gone away and all the stuff mentioned above was brought up on those calls we had one week before the national meeting. Still no internal hires for all but one position says it all.

    Self awareness is lacking here!

Just because you interviewed for a position and are a good rep does not equal a leadership position.

    Diversity is a good thing.

Completing the management development course does not mean you ate entitled to an RBM role.

Nobody implied anyone should be entitled. What is obvious is they only want the diversity and internal candidates are not valued. Thanks for stating all of the obvious Captain obvious. Just because we are in the field and in women’s health doesn’t mean we are idiot nor does it mean we lack leadership experience.

I could be wrong, but I think the OP is also observing a trend. If that’s the case, I agree wholeheartedly. This is also my observation. Not just, “oh they think they deserve a promotion”, but person after person who go through these programs and are not promoted. External candidates are hired instead. This is not just in WHC, it’s also in Oncology.

So LW and JS are gone, Libby back to RBM in NY and they are still hiring externals for the RBM positions?
Chelsea, .... a new day! A new external RBM was hired from Teva in state of Washington.... hmmm

So it’s not just a LW and JS leadership thing....

Adam Proud is the best! He’s smart, on point, a great leader and inspires his team. Thank you!
