    So glad DW was demoted. He is the prime example of Lilly's failed diversity experiment.

    When ever companies employe diversity and not a system of merit and rewards they fail. It is not complicated and we see this everywhere it is employed.

    DW is in an individual contributor position now with no direct reports so his lack of EI and leadership skills will be less of an issue.

    Lilly quest for diversity comes at enormous cost. Years of incompetence and making exceptions on performance results in people like DW as your leader. DW was unfairly treated. He was never held to the same standard as others. The bar was lower for him. He underperformed and under achieved relative to the true competition. Many were passed over and DW got the job. The company, not DW, is at fault for this. In their pursuit for diversity, they discriminated against merit and performance. In the end everyone suffers.

    In this environment, this is nearly always the case. Companies are more concerned about diversity than they are results.

    DW is a real idiot. The Peter principal took effect when he was an idiot manager in Kansas. Issue is Diversity sometimes gives opportunities that should have been shut down when he was a sales rep, or Lilly associate Anything beyond an associate or rep was beyond the Peter principal for this Guy. He was bad and still is and diversity within Lilly’s took him to a product director WoW?. We need to quit experimenting with this type of BS. Wise up Lilly’s.

    You're all idiots, the damage has been done. This guy shouldn’t be here. They let people go that have accomplished more and didn’t deserve to go. This guy was successful solely based upon all the female hires and promotions. Smart move, but his incompetence got him demoted.

    peter principal at work within Lilly. shit will always catch those that don’t belong sometimes it takes 5 to 10 years. Depending on who you are. He is gone and Lilly is better off for it.

    My question is why does DW still have a position. Definitely clueless based on observations from a spouse that wad a hubby working for DW for some time now. He doesn’t care for the ol guy. Just saying.
