You silly neuro CS's that think you're all safe. Yea, keeping drinking the Kool Aid. Just ask Andy M about his Neuro Nation project which will combine Rare Disease, MS and Lytics into one team. Bye bye job security. Don't be so arragant. Everyones jobs are not safe.

There is no way they could combine Lytics with those other franchises. It’s a completely different approach to selling. And what about Ophthalmology, how will they be impacted when they already went through transformation and lost every manager across the country? This feels like the year 2000 when I had 3 products and 3 different specialties.

Didn't you listen to the call? It's going to be EVERYONE.

Yeah, maybe, but you had a lot more job security back then. Face it, Lytics reps can’t sell competitively so they have no business in MS. As for Retina, that train is running out of track real fast. Once Brolo hits, the last Lucentis boxes will ship and they can shit the lights off. Don’t tell me Tiffany and others who left didn’t see the writing on the wall.

Actually neuro is going to be one of the hardest hit as they replace those jobs with managers and top reps from heme. Going to be a bloodbath and only the best of the best will be left standing. We will be completely changing how the industry does business. We are the leaders as usual!

Top reps from HEME? A little narcissistic?

I have never seen a company who doesn’t care at all about customer facing disruption until Genentech. I am trolling from another company but have many friends at Genentech. You are not leaders any more, sadly. In fact, nobody sees Genentech the way they used to. Their rankings on top company to work for will drop way off the list. Good job Genentech- you are now at the bottom of the industry and you don’t care about your customers or employees.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA- All of the top Heme reps left the company 5-10 years ago. Whats left is the scum at the bottom of the barrel and everyone but YOU knows it. Keep smoking your ganja and go sell some Gazyva LOL

There were no true top reps as they never had real competition to sell against. Once competition came, those with the best performance bailed using their good sales numbers as a catalyst to get the next gig. Same holds true for most all franchises there.
I was with Pegasys which had competition from day one and always saw through the phony holier than thou persona BioOnc, Xolair and Lytics had at NSM when interacting with them. Total BS artists who spent half their time blowing smoke up a hiring manager’s arse for the next gig that kept them relevant for 2 years.
Those of us who made the move into the Gene side when HCV went off patent were ostracized for bringing in novel ideas on how to sell competitively with integrity and respect. Two terms totally foreign to the DNA legacy turds. Good riddance to a company that is a shell of what it was.

The Xolair team will remain intact because of the contract with Novartis. Our team mirrors theirs and nothing can be changed without agreement from them.

It is true all units will see significant cuts. I did hear that many from heme will be given option to go to other franchises as reps and some cases promotion to managers. It is well known to upper management the disfunction in neuro so wouldn’t be surprised if many of our reps end up over there.

Some reps will be moved to xolair...makes sense from neuro.

Neuro has already been through Transformation once, but as MJ stated from stage, Transformation is an ongoing process. Reading between the lines does concern me regarding the trolling taking place above. I know Ocrevus will take a huge hit if they take out the wrong people. Neurologists are a very loyal bunch to long term relationships, and those that have them are going to be better off than those that don’t. Genentech still does not understand the Neurology space and will suffer if they aren’t careful. It is a very small world and Neurologists have long memories.

This is another post from the OP..obviously. Dude, you might want to get spell check, because you continue to look stupid.

Neuro is carrying this company. I understand the panic from those from other franchises about job security, but you don’t fire those that are carrying the company. Try again.

Neuro is hardly carrying the company. Although a nice revenue source. Trust me- many in neuro will be getting displaced and eventually replaced by heme reps. Just the way it is- genentech will take care of its own that have been here a lot longer.

Neuro is the only safe place to be right now. Genentech is no longer “ taking care of their own”. Have you been paying attention? The Neuro CS’s know how to sell, the rest of the franchises have never really had to sell. The Neuro CS’s are creme of the crop which is why they were hired. The legacy folks have been collecting paychecks for years doing not much.

The feeling is the neuro team is pretty good but the TLL team is doing the real selling. Obviously not sure if true as I'm in SSF. I know we got the majority of the neuro Salesforce on the cheap compared to heme which is a good thing- especially with huge cuts coming. Best of luck to all but this had to happen.
