Hey guys, quick update. My lawyer sent paperwork to celgene notifying that I was filing a lawsuit for harassment during the transition. They offered me a settlement that I believe is more than the severance I just have to agree to no wrong doing. Guess they don’t want to risk any hiccups

What type of harrassment are you talking about? Sexual??

We didn’t specify. But I had evidence of my manager treating me differently since the merger was announced. I have heard of a lot of harassment claims made in the I & I sales force in the last 5 years, so I imagine HR knows there is validity.

I also heard a rumor that HR was joking around at the last NSM about how much money Ron’s pep talk was going to cost them.

Our manager has been telling us that our sales performance and administrative work will determine if we are retained. Since there is zero validity to this, I would consider it bullying.. you think we qualify for any free money too?

We all wants that free money and free stuff - something for nothing and chicks for free!

hmm almost as if a credible harassment claim wasn't one of your original reasons for seeking severance. very cool you were able to manufacture an exit. am confident such accusations against your manager won't come back to bite you in this not so big industry

My manager doesn’t have a career in this industry. I’ve been on it longer than them. I asked around before coming to celgene and nobody had ever heard of them. I think I’ll be ok.

If you’ve been here 5 years you know there isn’t a need to manufacture claims, maybe just manufacture the evidence.

Big fan of Amgen through this whole process. Regardless - even if I don’t have a long time at the company I really appreciate how swift they’ve been to reach out and calm our nerves.

Believe it or not - Celgene and Amgen seem to have good chemistry. Looking fwd to next steps

You want to know what's telling about their sales force? $2 BILLION. Let that sink in.

They sell a product with industry worst efficacy and they kick everyones asses. $2 BILLION!

It's not the commercial. It's not the contracting. It's not the clever marketing. It's the sales force.

    Telling as hell.

No I work for the original club Celgene, the one with the actual money maker here in hemonc. Look at the all the posts on here about otezla and Amgen, it shows the maturity of the sales force. It’s like little kids running around over there huh?

Yea because they had no idea that calming your nerves after 6 months of limbo with BMS might actually result in millions of dollars more in sales...

You do realize ANYONE can post on cafepharma’s threads? Some of these comments may be from people who don’t even work here and trying to make us look bad.
