I don’t know, but the application is a doozy. They want my direct supervisors name, email, phone. I skipped that. There is a “can we contact” button at the bottom where you can choose “no”. But later on in their fine print it basically says they can contact anyone you list, and doesn’t mention the opt out...wtf. This is on hold for me.
The accounts that use the a scope are just looking to check the box . The quality of the scope/ image is not even close to the reusable equivalent. I would not want any procedure done at a hospital that only used the a scope because it means corners will cut in every other aspect of your care . Ambu having a huge lead in the disposable scope business has a ton of turnover as well because the growth expectations are unrealistic . I put my time in and left because the pay and product are both sub par
GlideScopes Bflex is night and day better in every aspect. Storz just launched theirs and Boston will be joining. Ambu’s reign is over in this segment
You are incorrect . Ambu is still the dominant player in this space and will be for the foreseeable future . They have the most sizes as well as ENT scopes . Urology and gastro to follow . The bflex looks nice and the monitor is slick but it is too short and the tip folds over easily . Only one size as well . Storz isn't even in the bronch market just pedi intubation . Haven't heard about Boston entering the market but it's not surprising . In a few years the market will be flooded with disposable scope companies because they are commodities .
Incorrect. GlideScope has 2 sizes currently. 5.0 and 5.8. Storz def is in the bronch market. You can gather this info from the companies websites..
The A scope has image issues that's why a new screen is being launched . What it does have is enough length 50cm lol why did you all do that . Also what size double lumen does the b flex fit down . That's right it doesn't . Also learn how to read an IFU storz is not indicated for bronch only intubation . Typical Verathon morons . Go back to washing cars at enterprise .
“Not indicated” lol. Go waive the ifu at docs and tell them they can’t use it..what a turd. Half the devices used today are used in a non indicated procedure. You must be new. Sit back relax and watch that Verathon moron and Storz moron flip your accounts. You will be the one washing cars.
it is the only option for single use ENT scopes and double lumen tubes . It is also longer than 50cm .
You keep telling yourself that... https://www.karlstorz.com/cps/rde/xbcr/karlstorz_assets/ASSETS/3575653.pdf
Lol love the pro Ambu. Pulmonary docs who used Ambu for the last 5 years demo the GlideScope bflex once and flip over night. The image is that much better, it drives better, the suction is better, everything is better. Go on and on about how the ascope is longer lol...you can’t see shit with that analog limp noodle
Wow an on line catalog and having product ready to ship and work are two different things . It does not matter everyone will be slashing their price to gain business with commissions being minuscule . All the jobs selling these scopes are entry level bottom feeder jobs .
You clearly only know Ambu.. it is more entry level over there with lower pay because it’s straight consumables. Ambu isn’t in the monitor (capital) selling business they drive volume on a low dollar product. Cut price on the only thing you have and commissions go down. Glide and Storz are heavy capital with volume consumables on the side. Different animal. Guaranteed you take all 3 companies in this space for MOST territories in the US and Ambu will rank last for compensation to the other two. Tell me I’m wrong..
Verathon scared to do side by side trials. Working tools get stuck . Unable to navigate Right Upper love . Imagine having a beautiful car. Then unable to turn and navigate where you need to go .
So now Ambu has the new breadth of disposable GI scopes... anyone know how these rank against the competition? Job postings for this are everywhere. Thx
