Some of the New “Leadership” destroyed a great Culture

    Lol. So if the current leadership is so brilliant, they would not be trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip in “select” areas. Go win the large health care systems that dictate medicine to their providers. Like management does here, easy peazy right? They also hold ALL the power, that would increase market share, fast! Five years in, and only the Sales Teams have figured that out ? A bit crazy.

    The culture is one of negativity, bullying and deception. Q2 was the company’s best quarter on record, yet most reps didn’t make their quota- but grew their territory 30-50%. Work harder and maybe you could hit your quota and grow 60%. Sarah and Kevin know exactly what is happening. New management is raking in the money, pushing out reps and hiring managers with no experience. spending, spending, spending is out of control and most of it is on new middle and upper management positions. Regional managers have no guts and won’t stand up for their managers or teams. The new pharma model they are shoving down the pmr’s throat isn’t working and everyone in the company thinks the numbers are wrong- but not upper management.
    Beware this place is TOXIC

    If you don’t like it then LEAVE! This is a great place to work and spend your entire career at. Our employment engagement surveys are always 90% or greater!!!

    This is a different person than above. The engagement surveys are 90% because of BIG BROTHER, duh!
    One time I purposely put something irrelevant in the employee survery that i knew my stupid manager Tammy Brinkmann would take the bait if they weren't anonymous and Tammy asked me a question about it just 4 days later in a ride along. I told all my team mates that this was absolutely NOT confidential and my suspicions were correct. Exact Sciences surveys are a big JOKE and my manager an idiot for taking the bait (double duh).

    Well these surveys better he anonymous !
    I have talked to many other sales people and if they try to say that this was a positive result this time we will know it is BS! Everyone has said they put it all out there! Everyone is frustrated!
    We loved this company and what has happened over the last year has been completely disappointing. Everything is unfair and no one cares. They hide our numbers, they only care about metrics and try to trip people up.
    If they use this survey to hurt people let’s sue them
    There will be a way to prove it if it is not truly anonymous. A good lawyer can make that happen ! Wish we could have our old , positive, honest culture back

    Whoever called out their Managers name, or anyone’s name on any thread, for any reason, should be in Medical Sales jail. This is an anonymous board. Bitch all you want, but make sure it’s truthful and accurate. And keep it clean an professional. The above comments were neither.

    Is there anyone that works as a PMR for Exact Sciences happy? I know I’m miserable and am actively seeking employment elsewhere. Seems everyone I speak with is doing the same thing. My manager is a tyrant. His behavior goes from cordial to a ranting psycho. I’ve never been spoken too in such harsh and demeaning way in my life. I went from him telling me I was a great rep to now being made to feel that I can’t do my job. At first, I thought it was just my manager. But I hear the same story from all over the country. I think the managers are being told to put the pressure and act like a jerk from upper management. Maybe it’s their new “challenger” management training. Create conflict with the sales team. I think they want people to quit so that they will leave before their stocks vest.

    WELCOME to BIG Pharma. Didn’t work decades ago, and it’s definitely not going to work with a non pharma company in 2019, and beyond. If Exact really wanted to be successful they would listen to their reps., as it were, the reps. are nothing but minions. Corporate is so disconnected from reality, they may never understand what the real issues are. Surveys don’t lie. You asked for it, take them to heart. We’re not stupid people out here, with some exceptions of course. Same with leadership, some are brilliant, others.....how in the Hell did you ever get to where you are ? Who ya know? Or what ya know. Hmmmmm. Not a smart business model. Hire the best and get the best. It’s that simple.
