This drug (ozanimod) has about a 50% chance of getting approved by the FDA and a 2% chance of a neurologist ever using it. Unless you are unemployed, you really don't want to be a part of this.

 

What is laughable is everything That is being said about the lack of success of this product is exactly what everyone said about Otezla! When reading the boards after I got the job with Celgene to launch Otezla I started to freak out thinking oh my gosh what have I done and then look at turns out to be a massive billion dollar Blockbuster. What you are leaving out is that Otezla, a placebo, had Ron (with Scott's protection) to create a performance based culture that sold this water pill. Sold it like a boss.

Ron ain't around anymore and the metrics driven approach will not work with the 25th product on the market.

 

Truth! Mark Alles can thank everyone else all day long and never give credit to sales, but Ron's system is what made Otezla a winner.

 

Well good news- cux Ozanomid works as well as placebo and will cost 5x more than generic Gilenya. Good luck selling this POS. It's a crowded market and this is not a standout drug.
