You could care less? Riiiight! You’re a fucking douchebag crying on a thread about a company you “left” six months ago.

Then why are you on here? Is it to tell us how bad it used to be here and how the things we used to do were stupid? You seem awfully upset for someone who doesn’t care. We’ve moved on. I think it’s time you do the same thing.

I can't speak for anyone else, but when I worked here I was angry because they cheated me out of my commissions several times and came up with "creative" excuses of why they couldn't pay me. I heard from other reps around the US at meetings that they experienced the same so I was not alone by a long shot.

I actually enjoy helping people, I would not even let my worst enemy work at Exact. An honest answer about how they cheat the reps is a Very accurate descriptor for Exact. I don't care about the company, I work for a smaller company where I travel half the US and my manager told me 2x last month that he appreciates me and I actually get PAID my commissions here. I'm not on here "crying and moaning" I didn't see any of that in my statement. My sole purpose was to make someone else more Informed about what goes on int
Hahahahaha. The person wasn't being a "Debbie Downer" they were being spot on! I have 12 yrs of medical sales and I was never treated so poorly until I came to Exact. I didn't even feel like a human anymore much less a salesperson. I work for a smaller company now and they actually tell me that they value my opinions and appreciate me....at Exact they only know about Power & Control and Big Brother. I can't believe I stayed in such a horrible relationship with Exact for so long. Silly me.

Become a manager. You arent cut out for it and probably got denied any chance at a promotion. It's what you need to do in this industry that way when you merge and get laid off you can go the sales route or management route. Staying in sales is limiting. You wouldnt cut it though champ. Needs development on the coaching report!

can you give an example of a creative excuse as to why they couldn’t pay you? The compensation plan is well though out and distributed in writing. There’s no sneaky way for the company to avoid paying for your success. Unless you have definite proof, I’m thinking you either did something that voided your compensation or you’re merely making up b.s. as a disgruntled former employee.

When only a couple of people out of many hundreds make goal, there is something wrong with the numbers. A number a PMRs looked at the reports sent out from corporate, compared them to CRM and Tableau, and the ships were way off. Then they even asked providers how many orders they placed in the last few days, the orders never showed up in the sales data. So One would come to a conclusion the company is ripping off their reps., and treating them like Garbage to boot. And now they are on a hiring frenzy, when the reps are already tripping over each other and are losing access left and right. When is someone in corporate going to figure out that Exact Sciences is not Big Pharma. and running it that way is destroying it. This company could have easily turned a profit years ago, if they had anyone with a clue Running it. Good Luck All. Your gonna need it. The consulting company they keep hiring are beyond morons as well. Their data sucks, for starters. Can you say “Duped”

Well, they seem focused on profitability now. That’s great to hear.

Yep, by not paying people what they earned in bonus. And using that money to hire a bunch of people that are not needed. If you come in at 94%. You should be paid out at 94%. How can small depleted territories make any money when there is no new business left to get, and the volume is massive? And the goals and growth rates are insanity compared to the rest of the industry? It makes no sense and it’s beyond unethical.

Here's just one example out of the 4x I did not get paid my commissions. At my first Exact sales meeting I met up with someone I was in Training with from another state. She asked me how I was doing in the company. I told her the first quarter I was given 40 non-viable accts out of 50 so no commission there. The next quarter I hand-picked my accts and I was 137% to quota. When I asked my manager TB SouthEast florida when I could expect to receive my commissions she stated, "You were already paid on that." 1. what a bunch of BS - how in the world could I have been paid on that if in the 1st quarter I had 40 non-viable accts and received Zero commissions? 2. The sales rep who I'd been talking to then said her manager had given her the same lame excuse and she was over her quota as well.

The 3rd time I was cheated I went to the HR department with PROOF and an 11 email chain and amazingly enough I was let go 2 days before the end of the month and Exact cheated me a 4th time!!! I forwarded the emails to my personal account and I still have them. Please don't try to spin it that it was somehow my fault for being cheated. That makes me want to vomit.

Shame on you Exact - savvy sales reps know a BS excuse when they are being taken for a ride. Exact is not the only medical sales company who has done this to me, which is why I jumped ship to a privately owned company and Software sales. I'm sick and tired of the publicly traded companies and how they decide "IF and how much they are going to pay you" on a Quarterly basis.

Before you say that I'm the only one and "I" must have done something to deserve being cheated....I have a friend who has been in medical sales for over 13 years and she's had the same garbage with multiple companies, the guy I'm dating is a scientist for a medical sales company and they pull the same garbage on the sales reps. Seems to be a common thread in medical sales to make cuts/cheat the reps where they can to make the Stock reports look Great. Like I said, I'm not going to go back and forth with this and give more examples, this is the second time I've been on cafe Pharma and will be my last because I'm in an entirely new ballgame of Software sales. I'm actually valued where I'm at and so far been paid accurately. Even though I have a clinical background I don't think I will ever go back into medical sales because I enjoy actually Receiving my Commissions in software sales.

Really? If you know the AM she’s referring to it’s pretty easy to figure out. There’s been no turnover on that team. Easy to figure out the jaded rep who keeps getting on here and bashing her previous AM.

You obviously have no clue what you’re talking about!
