$120K+ maybe more. Get your experience because it's rare disease move over to a company that will give you $150k (going rate for rare disease). Micromanagement in every division at OTsuka despire being a speciality sales force.. Excellent 401k Zero Time off.
Agree!! Qualified candidates with solid rare disease aren’t touching this position at 125k base. Company and patients loss.
if the manager really likes you they will push for more money. I have known of offers at 130 so it does happen
Run. No money is worth the headaches...micromanaging, back stabbing, etc. DMs just throwing you under the bus to save their ass...you name it. Run!
Morale is at zero. No confidence in manager, management, marketing. Even the MSLs are miserable. Five years equal vesting...
We are told to call offices and get e-mails, as if our Neph's won't have enough on their plates with likely stepped up hospital duty, answering calls/issues from their concerned dialysis patients facing real mortality challenges, rescheduling patients, managing their own likely office staff vacancies.., so I can flood you with junk emails and ask you to set aside time in your busy day to listen to me? Seriously?
But, as you know, that positive tension should really get them to take the garbage truck on fire right in front of them, to stop and search for the rare disease patient over the terrified patients in the units, hospitals, clinics and panicked family members at home. One client is forced by his wife to strip in the mud room and put laundry immediately in the machine and shower before touching anything in the house. But, positive tension is the key to moving sales... Take another bong hit and think up the next big idea...
great resume builder if youre comeing form PCP.. get your 2 years and go play with big boys at alexion-biogen or other real biotech.. avoid novartis or amgen.. those are all PCP ish..
We are very PCP oriented...at least on the psych side. Add Lundbeck and the Ready Now reps and we are like Pfizer and Glaxo with 4 reps hounding providers. Rather than focusing on quality interactions, we now focus on “messaging”...Our industry really has evolved. A monkey can do this job by now. Why on earth do you need a college degree to do this????
