Both companies will be under BMS umbrella but many DBMs for this role are new to Celgene are from typical pharma companies. They haven’t been with Celgene prior. BMS is a stable company. Launch expected in March. Guess there are never guarantees. My decision will come down to fit with hiring manager. Territories are bigger.

F2F interviews next week for some. The new managers just had their meeting in Dallas last week. Offers will go out before Christmas shutdown on the 20th. Start date middle of feb with pdufa date expected March 25th. Still no word on compensation and that will factor into decision to leave current job. I was told salary may be different for each based on MS experience, etc.

Had recruiter interview first of THIS week and was told would be moving on to call for phone manager interview. Recruiter said Start time for Ozanimod is first of January. Wonder why the confusion?? When would be timing for current job notice? Does anybody know what the clinical science difference with O will be over other products in the crowded MS class? ARE there any?

safety without sacrificing efficacy - oz will be a challenge to sell but those able to craft a reason should do well - we are about a year late with this because of the RTF, but in can be sold - make no mistake, it won't be easy, but the product can be positioned in a unique space - it's too bad we couldn't take the Rheumatology team with us because those are the best sales people we ever had at Celgene. Had things worked out, they would be the lead on this product. Oy ve.

I also was not told a range. I currently make 100k base and wish I knew if I would be making around that. Very frustrating

100k is nothing in the MS DMT market...

You most definitely should and will get a higher salary than 100k. If it were me and knowing MS space, you should ask for 125-130k.

Update on interviews...some are next two weeks depending on where you are. Start date will not be until February due to expected approval coming in March. These are facts as I’m friends with hiring DM and in another division. Hope that helps.

Biggest question is how high will BMS be willing to pay reps...I know many with salaries in 150's,

yes, if you have experience in rare or MS some salaries are close to 200k. My brother is with serono and his salary is 194k

Do you need to have ms experience? I don’t but I’m thinking about applying

And this folks (if indeed true) is the problem in the pharma industry. NO reason to pay a sales person this amount of money or even close to it!

It appears I didn't get selected for a F2F interview. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

Good Luck to everyone who made it to the live rounds.

Had a phone screening with a recruiter that I thought went very well.

It appears I wasn't selected for the first round of F2F interviews.

Good luck to those who did.

Can someone please clarify why Romano was canned, and why he’s still under investigation with Novartis? Asking for a friend. . .

Sorry to hear. How did you find out, email or just a hunch? Because it was recruiter then phone int with hiring manager then f2f with hiring manager
