Just wanted to create a post for those of us displaced. I’m anxious to see how many us will be recruited for another position. Please post your experience here. Good luck everyone!

Great idea! But can we also add the Breo and Trelegy people since most of us aren't happy either and also looking?

We should really just keep this to those who were displaced. It’d be great to see what Syneos actually does for their reps who are now unemployed.

They have done nothing so far for me as a displaced Janssen rep.

For some, it was as easy as 1-2-3: now embedded and sellin' Trelegy!:D:rolleyes:

I think it is stupid to take this job thinking Syneos will help you get another contract when the contract ends. We are all adults and knew what we were signing up for. It's usually a great gig while it lasts. But it's not like a direct position. Once it ends, that's it. Bye. Then you are on your own again to find a job. I don't know why that is a difficult concept to understand? If you don't like it, then only get a job with the manufacturer.

Good luck being a GSK stepchild in an over staffed temporary position.

Good Luck! No assistance here, former Syneos rep. They never answer the phone and act like they don’t know who is working “that project”.

Maybe it's difficult to understand because that is what you were told when you were hired. Maybe it's difficult to understand because that's what you were told during the late stages of the contract. Maybe you don't expect leadership to look you in the face and lie. Maybe it is "stupid", however, no company can build trust if it is built on a foundation of lies.

The person you should be in touch with is your manager. If he has to fill a position on a new contract and your in that territory and you were a good rep. ( expense reports on time and all the crap he give you on time and correct) You have a job.

I agree with this 100 percent. Each time there has been a layoff on this Advair contract (Tanzeum, etc), managers gave out leads to other open contract positions and helped some displaced reps get hired. I don't think it's that Syneos recruiters are ever going to step in and help. I've never seen that happen. You are on your own at that point.
But if there are open spots on other contracts as soon as you are laid off, then managers can recommend you and make it easier for you to get hired for those positions.

I got a call from a Syneos recruiter for a phone screen. Also, my manager was let go and they found him another position, in a different geography though.

Just wanted to throw that out there
