Wow! Agree 110%. One could only hope our fearless leaders take time to read this.

Damon was not the problem with 5461. That was Rich, clinical, and regulatory. And he does not have JR duties, just his and Joe's. JR had manufacturing, HR, PR, sales, marketing and BD. Get your facts straight before mouthing off.

5461 happened because everyone who knew we were making a mistake was afraid to go up against EE. And for good reason. Yes men (and women) were rewarded. Anybody who expressed concern was labeled “difficult” and ignored.

Sadly, with CH it’s more of the same. I guess in the end the buck stops with Rich.

New to this discussion but need to ask you a question. So you're saying that anyone who knows that we are walking into a buzz saw by being ignorant or arrogant with regard to FDA advisory panel should just keep their mouth shut? If that is what this company has come down to then we are in bigger trouble than I thought. I spoke at length with DH during the run up to launch and expressed my concerns (everybody had the same concerns) and I was told I was wrong and we were on track and only "unknown" was how long it will take to get the product scheduled.

Moving forward might I suggest we not bury our heads in the sand when we know we are in for an FDA beat down? Might I also suggest it is the duty of every member of every team to call bullshit on bullshit and keep it real. If the emperor has new clothes we need to be honest and tell him we can see his boxers!

CH doesn’t have any development experience - he has medical affairs experience - that’s why there is a big mess in development.

Calling bullshit on bullshit is a great idea, and the ethical thing to do, but it isn't rewarded here in "lets make believe land". Just ask Fred Fox. The safer bet is to gulp down another glass of that Papa Pops Kool-Aid! Who needs self-respect and honor anyway? They're over-rated!

Why does Fred Foxx matter? I mean, he was great on Sanford and Son but, isn't he dead? Serious replies only.

True, but nobody is an expert on everything. That’s why you surround yourself with smart people who are unafraid to give candid advice. Someone from CDLT could have gone to Rich and told him the 5461 strategy (sure we got a RTF, but I think we can get this approved!) was dogshit, but didn’t. Same type of stuff continues today with CH.

Everyone sits in that room waiting for him to smile or frown and then tailor their opinions to match.

I might not make it to bonus time. Gotta get out.

I hope the entire company sinks to the bottom of the ocean.
The boys club and their bitches need to sink and the world will be better off.

Does anyone know exactly what we paid Osbourne? I have heard several figures all of which are north of $6 million.

The king hears what the king wants to hear. Naysayers are seen as non-believers or lacking the king's vision.

There are 22 FRMs plus their managers. Want save some money..start there. Useless position and don’t produce revenue. We don’t need them.

There are also a ton of jobs in Waltham that could go. Do we need this many medical writers? R&D is overstaffed when we have nothing in the pipeline. Why do we need such a big HR department? What is marketing doing? Who are all the communications people? The only area that really needs help is IT.

With respect I think the "who cares" attitude is part of the problem in this place. No one is held responsible for blunders, so we tend to make stupid mistakes over and over again. If we ever want to see progress here its time for a little accountability. Accountability has to be from the top down, not just from the bottom up.
