So the allergan-syneos interviews was a shady shit show
Right before interviews began an Allergan executive talent acquisition specialist recruiter HR associate employee relations representative comes in and says that it is now a direct hire position not syneos contract
Two rounds of interviews conditional on whether you get through the first.
first round with Syneos DSM and Allergan hiring manager if successful then with Syneos national business director
Most of the qualified people got rejected in the first round (i.e some or good GI experience, top 20 pharma company, etc etc) and the ones who made it through seemed less qualified and too inexperienced (i.e no GI experience, companies with little to no market presence)
Interview questions were bs, no sales behavioral or no product knowledge or what do you know about our company or GI capability - no questions that establish competency and qualifications

are you sure LZ is on chopping block? It is copromoted with partner company and could be hard to get rid of.

Anyone think they will put people on plan and say it’s “because of performance” but really they need to thin out force before going into merger? We all know nobody comes out of a plan here.

That’s standard procedure for last 20 years.

Unachievable targets are one of the ways they do it.

No I dont think LZ is on the chopping block but when I went through the syneos/Allergan interviews earlier this week, the AGN manager made it seem like LZ would be the only product we (potential new hires) would be promoting and possibly Creon. So what I think is they’re hiring duds to just increase the share of voice.
I remember him asking something really weird about how I would go about influencing positive behaviors of my team member to sell LZ better since its not their primary product, which is strange because when I reached out to some Allergan reps to get more information about the position they were very well-informed and knew exactly what they were talking about

You obviously dont know the history of AbbVie. The acquired company is treated better than its own employees

I sure hope so - salaries suck at AGN and the ridiculous Quotas are driving most of us to leave anyway. And we thought you bought us for a certain drug. This quarter has pushed most in Aesthetics to seek more. Thank goodness it’s out there!

Hello AbbVie! Please pay us a speciality salary, pension, profit sharing - get rid of the 50 plus legacy AGN fools - bye already! Especially reps with top 50 accounts that don’t leave their house except for the gym or mall

You’re all toast. Don’t kid yourself, legacy reps will be given priority over younger inexperienced immature reps like yourself. No babysitting needed for legacy reps. No 52 weeks either!

You 50, no 50 - in the plan, bye. We can replace you for much cheaper but most we really don’t need. Y’all don’t work anyway - watch ya on the GPS, some barely leave their hood. Must be because they drive their fancy car on the weekend. Don’t think we aren’t watching

Arkansas reps? I’m friends with Arkansas reps and I heard they were cracking down really hard on them. They got rid of that arrogant speciality manager that thought he was above it all.

There is a new hire opening in my area-would you recommend applying? Do you think this division is stable?

The estimated closing will occur on or around February 5th 2020. After the acquisition is completed, targeted positions and divisions that will be affected by the restructuring process will be notified at some point in April. Severance packages of 16 week’s (maximum) will be allocated for all Allergan employees impacted. We will be working closely with ***** and we ask that any questions or concerns you may have, be directed to *****. Our company has now set its path in this positive direction. We appreciate the continued cooperation from all of our staff as we work through this transition period.
