Anyone have any feedback/experience on the Skype sales role play for new hires?

It's not a big deal. Do the detail, ask impactful questions, give fair balance, hit the disclosures, close.

OMG this POS company makes people do a skype role play. Just when you thought this profession couldn't stoop any lower to treat people like shit! No time to meet the individual in person? Amarin pays their reps NOTHING and now this. I swear this industry gets more depressing every day.

You must have bombed yours! Many companies do video interviews/details. If you can’t handle it, you don’t belong here or any pharma company.

I would say its like Kindergarten but that wouldn't be fair to Kindergarteners.

Those that defend the actions of these role play scenarios are quite possibly the soul less human beings or zombies that walk the face of the earth with that stupid look on their faces all day. Never contributing anything to society but consuming and taking orders from people that don't have their best interest in mind.

Yes, I agree. This industry truly is terrible.

The company geniuses appear to have a severe lack of confidence/conviction in their decision-making abilities.

Smart reps never put themselves in a position to participate in juvenile interviews like this. I always pass on companies that want these video interviews.

So, they are left with idiots to interview.
And that is who they get to sell for them, and they wonder why the results are not there.

Intelligent people just move to other endeavors. Today, medical/pharma sales is for frat boys and cheerleaders.

They do it because they hire a lot of newbies, such as people who sold makeup or flooring etc
