According to public disclosures, we calculate that NBIX paid $4.6 million in speaking fees in 2018, a total that exceeds the heyday of the Avanir fraud and includes a seamless transition of paid doctors from Avanir to NBIX that is uncanny. We calculate that of the top 20 highest paid NBIX doctors, each of whom has cumulatively received in excess of $110k from the company, 18 also have received money from Avanir/Otsuka. Of the top 40 highest paid NBIX doctors, each of whom has cumulatively received in excess of $50k from the company, 36 also have received money from Avanir/Otsuka.

Watch your backs, investigation started a while ago. Do you all even know what's going on? DOJ works quietly. Emails have all been submitted. Should be a good movie. Certain managers should be very concerned.

The reps and Manager in Minneapolis will be subpoenaed, that's a fact.

I really don’t understand why Neurocrine keeps these people around. Of course the DOJ would investigate us with all of these bad apples here!
How is anyone supposed to respect these people in leadership! Do the right thing Neurocrine!!

In the article, it said Eric Benevich (executive #4) was the architect of basically all the wrongdoings by Avanir. He jumps ship in 2015 and goes over to Neurocrine as their #3 in command and brings the entire team with him. Several of these recruits get indicted by the feds as well as several of the docs they use to write the majority of their prescriptions who are also the largest recipients of speaker fees.

How could Kevin Gorman, who is CEO of Neurocrine and also a PhD, not see the problem with this. Isn't this basically bringing a contagion into the Neurocrine ecosystem? Ingrezza sales could not have been THAT important to them. Why have they not preemptively cleaned house? Why aren't they disclosing to shareholders that several Avanir wrongdoers worked their way in to the Salesforce's, and then assuring said shareholders that the issue has been addressed? This is a ticking time bomb that, if it gets out in the wrong way, will effect share price and profitability. What the heck is going on here?

Please don’t act like you’re mr high and mighty

Everyone at Neurocrine is selling off label and buying the business and buying the speakers to promote Ingrezza and to write write write off label to line all your pockets with money.

Don’t say TD say movement disorders

If that’s not off label then what is ????

NC was filling out all of the PA’s for his offices and then taking the office managers and staff out to get dinner and drinks and what does Neurocrine do?
    They promote him to manager

    NC, KS, EF

Much of what you are saying is true. Except DP’s quote to a room full of people was “don’t say TD say neurological movements”.
You are correct that people were/are doing the PAs for offices among a bunch of other crap. However, where you are wrong is that NOT everyone is at Neurocrine is doing this crap. Many people have left because of it and many people were forced out because they weren’t “performing” like those who will stop at nothing to get paid. Find the people who have have left. I guarantee they would talk. The people still in, many who aren’t doing this shit, are still here for the stock. Praying the company gets bought out.

This is exactly why I left this company. Such a disappointment. I heard about the recent terminations...finally caught up with some of them. Who is next?

They are keeping that under wraps as much as they can. All the stars falling from grace.
