IT people are so dumb, we can outsource you to.......Oh I don’t know say India, all of Eastern Europe, Canada and maybe even AI can run your department with say one person restarting windows every hour. That’s all you numb nuts know how to do. Flush! That’s the sound of IT leaving the combined organization. You are one HB1 visa away from the street! LOL. We can get foreigners in to work for pennies on the dollar. Buh Bye.

Sales, on the other hand creates revenue and revenue translates into profits. Profits are shared here at Abbie with Ricky, you, me and all of the shareholders. We all win with sales! IT, well let’s just say that you should peek above your cubicle and look around and try and figure out whose pooper to kiss on the way out.

Well we just bumped the dividend by 10% so I guess you were wrong? I’m not as smart as you so I am just asking if this opinion Of yours still stands. “Many employees will be impacted”, we just got Dec. 23rd off as an additional holiday. My kind of impact!

Allergan currently has unlimited PTO. How does the time off policy look over there? And also curious, suit and tie dress code enforced for sales?

Abbvie is great. Jeans at meetings now. Wear a sport coat if your looking to move up the ranks, it’s funny to see. We are at the forefront of tight sport coats and sneaker shoes. PTO is very good five weeks at fifteen, four at ten also 3 floaters. Sick days are not monitored ( put in as a sick day in Salesforce) unless your out frequently or over 3 consecutive days it goes in as Short term disability.

Wow. Jeans at meetings. Up until that 10 year anniversary, it’s 3 whole weeks of vacation. Can’t wait.

The ol' unlimited PTO..You left out a very important part, PTO must get manager's approval and we all know how the management team at Allergan is really like. Also when those lay-offs come around there will be no unused vacation pay. Dressing up a pig still makes it a pig.

Absolutely. While I've never had a request denied, there are lots of people who don't feel they can ask for another day off, despite the fact that they are using less than they had under the past system. AGN did not go this route out of the goodness of their hearts for employees.

This is exactly how I feel. I’ve been with Forest/Actavis/Allergan for 16 years, and if I make it thru the merger layoffs I’m looking forward to having a bank of PTO again.

Long hedge fund Abbv holders are down 11% from Q219. Not good!

The estimated closing will occur on or around February 5th 2020. After the acquisition is completed, targeted positions and divisions that will be affected by the restructuring process will be notified at some point in April. Severance packages of 16 week’s (maximum) will be allocated for all Allergan employees impacted. We will be working closely with ***** and we ask that any questions or concerns you may have, be directed to *****. Our company has now set its path in this positive direction. We appreciate the continued cooperation from all of our staff as we work through this transition period.

If what you wrote was part of the email why did it post just as the entire email from AbbVie? I just don’t see them cleaning house with Allergan WH. In a lot of territories it’s lean as it is.

Where did you come up with 16 weeks severance max? Contract reps get more than that. Change of control severance is 52 weeks.

Don’t worry about him, just another B.Sh***r. He does not work for Allergan, if he did and could read and comprehend English, he would not come up with this fake email.

Withholding your 401k money isn’t exactly a heartwarming policy at Allergan, either.

    Talk about corporate greed.
