Don't waste your time with garbage companies like Allergan. They are typical of companies that want to own your life, for peanut bonus, and no development.

Best to you...but smarten up and understand that these companies stink.

You should be asking this question on the ABBVIE board.

It’s legacy Forest (LOW LOW LOW) vs legacy Allergan (almost industry standard). Institutional on the Forest side is not even close to industry standard, I had a recruiter tell me they won’t go past 115 (and recruiters tend to exaggerate on the high side)! That being said, that’s not that bad, depending on what market you live in.

I think they are bringing in entry level reps around 60-70k now if you have been in the workforce awhile. Straight out of college or maybe a few years working experience/23-28 age range salary ranges are 55-60k. I had a friend get hired this year in the northeast PC division who was my referral and he came in at 70k. Plus, he’s 48 years old so no age discrimination as he bear out some of the young and pretty faces to land the job from b2b background. Btw, no minority or disability either.

very surprised to hear that. Institutional side and right at 140 now. The other divisions are obscenely low but the company is trying to make some adjustments from what we hear

No experience, just interviewed for new product launch, Neuro. Quoted $80-85 with 30-35,000 as plan. Also said they are requiring 2 speaker dinner programs per week which feels unrealistic, any insights who interviewed?

You don’t come to work at Allergan for the money. You come to work because of the environment, people and the way you’re treated....oh wait! Errrrr ummmmm well you come to work at Allergan because you needed a job badly and you work here while you look for something else.

It looks like a lot of Allergan jobs are posting through Syneos so that can’t be good for Allergan reps

What would that mean if Allergan jobs were posting as Syneos? I’m not sure I follow.

They will still be Allergan real. Syneos is doing the legwork.

It means that the new hires will be working for Syneos and Syneos is a contract company but they’ll still be selling Allergan products.
    So again, it’s contract reps

It depends. Some companies hire Syneos to interview and hire, some hire them to manage the sales force. If the ad said this is an Allergan permanent position, it will be Allergan as your employer. But if not, it is usually contract.

Experienced workers beware - I was recently asked my salary history by an Allergan manager - even though it is illegal to ask that in the state in which we live. Syneos actively supports age discrimination in all aspects of hiring.

What is the salary for an Aesthetic I rep and what is the difference between an I and II? The Boston position is open and I not sure if I want to apply and waste my time if the salary is low.

Then don’t waste your time bud. Allergan is legit one of the lowest salary paying companies in the industry.
As I’m sure you know, there are companies that are aggressive with their salary if they want experienced reps with a history of success, but Allergan is 100% not that company.
