Imagine you are looking for a job in pharma. As you research your options you do an online search of Alkermes you come across Cafepharma and read these various postings. You would have to be out of your mind or desperate to take a job here after you read what's going on, and after you review the history of our stock price. That means that we have no chance of attracting the best people...which is just another nail in our collective coffin. Let me be clear, I don't blame the people who post here. I blame management for having created a stultifying, moribund, and cult-like culture in this place. A total change at the top is needed if we are to halt the free-fall.
So dumb! You think normal people believe half of what's posted here Posts are either from people just making crap up and the the rest are from people who were fired, about to be fired, a competitor or someone who didn't get an offer. All other company sites are the same. Hope that helps
I strongly disagree with your comment because I am one of the people that left on my own terms with being at 90-100% to goal consistently and I find most of the postings to be accurate on here obviously I dont take into account postings that are plain childish and those I disregard just like BS I was fed by the company. I think this site is a great tool if you use it and apply properly. Many people post here to vent, some who got laid off tell their stories and those who left want to give some insight of their experience. I HIGHLY doubt potential candidate will risk discussing things they are able on this site while they are interviewing. At the same time I doubt even if questions are voiced during interviews will be answered with No Bias from hiring crew. So your generic response could be dismissed by a smart reader!!!!

Yes, cafe pharma is basically a cesspool of negativity on each companies board. Alkermes was never that way, though (besides the occasional ripping of MS or some random manager), until the last year or so.
