The majority of this isn’t even opinion, it is completely false.

That's right. We are doing everything perfectly. Nothing is ever our fault. Everyone is against us...the media, the doctors, the lawyers, the patients, the treatment providers, the politicians...everyone! That attitude is why our stock is in the crapper. You can't fix what's wrong if you keep telling yourself that you are right.

Yeah, it’s really killing the stock price, which is up 6% following the news of this lawsuit. 6% up is a minor miracle with this stock.

Alkermes has major issues (mainly with leadership from the Top all the way down) but this article is not one of them. Numerous factual errors as well as opinions on other MAT’s stated as fact.

It’s tragic anytime someone loses their life, but unless they have evidence of the alkermes employees hiding or altering the PI, Marketing materials, REMS info, etc, all of which contain a warning for OD, they need to accept the fact that anytime someone injects heroin, they run the risk of OD’ing whether they’re on vivitrol, suboxone, methadone, or nothing at all. Never mind the fact that independent studies showed less OD’s with Vivitrol than suboxone.

And thank God we NEVER oversell the efficacy of our product or undersell the risks. Wait a minute...didn't we just get an FDA warning letter (and press release) for doing that very thing? Let's see how much we pay out for in California for an out of court settlement to hush things up. That's our M.O. here at Alkermes...pay off, get a non-disclosure agreement, deny wrong, hope no one notices, and pass around the Papa Pops Kool Aid.

This place is going down like the Titanic. I would suggest anyone who is worth a damn start interviewing with other companies before you get the rug pulled out from under you. I’m waiting on my offer letter Friday and I will be out of this hell hole before it drags me under with it :)

long long gone- got out of the shit show at $67. Not looking back! You can either stay until they turn the lights off or be proactive and find something better.
more law suits will follow and don’t be surprised to see class action suits and big time settlements. With a lousy pipeline and inept sr leadership most would argue there are better places to be-Starbucks, Walmart?

Thanks for coming back to share your worthless and made up thoughts after being gone for so long. Of course, you know that nobody believes you don't you?

Dude man. RELAX. I've been with 6 companies over the past 27 years. Every single one has been sued for wrongful death, promotion causing great bodily injury, heart attach causation... It happens to every company because we all have money. Lawyers are lawyers and that's just the way it is. Case as filed seems pretty flimsy from what I've been able to read. We have some major problems here, but this case is not one of them. It's a bigger problem to me that this is worrying you. Focus on selling and doing your job. Or, finding a different place to work if you are not happy. Life is short. Try to enjoy it. :)
