Typical. People who are stuck in a shitty place want everyone else to suffer with them because they're not getting better offers to GTFO.

Actually, my interviews are with biotech and oncology companies, all have a better culture and MORE PAY!!!!!!

Get your heads out of you asses. This place is burning to the ground. The last time a company laid off it's entire sales force was SOCKS.COM during the dot.com debacle.

Good luck on the SS. Titanic.

    See ya!!

This thread is complete BS, for except one point. When have you seen an organization layoff It’s salesforce and say you have to re-interview for a job here because you’re not qualified. In addition where have you seen a job description that is four pages long and looks like a fictional story.

It is a contrived charade when the jobs are redesigned so they can claim it is a different job and the people who are performing well and generating business are let go for canned, made up reasons. It is all nepotism. Political friendships outweigh what is best for the business and customers. You have people in these new roles begging the ousted reps for their books and help with relationships. Total joke. Genentech is now an embarrassment to the industry.

Maybe everyone needs a course in Human Resource Legalities.
You have to reinterview because it is the fairest to reduce headcount. Stop saying people are not qualified these jobs are not rocket science. You can either sell or not, you can either create business relationships or not, you can learn clinical aspects of drugs or not.
You sell drugs, thats it. Genentech has made a mockery of this business. How many of you had additional roles as a lead for product team or operations, or yadda yadda. Everyone was so busy trying to get a role to add kudos to their evaluations we lost sight of what we did best and that was truly driving revenue. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. And please don't let them second guess your experiences and qualities.

This effort to put everything about the ecosystems is to eliminate reps completely. The BAMs, RGMs and DMs don’t know there customers because they don’t listen or they haven’t met with them in years..

We have seen many great DMs and good people leaders being ousted in the pioneer ecosystems. They placed these jackasses and RGMs who haven't managed people or seen any real customers for years in the leadership roles. There are successful CS's who were pushed out because they did not show the "right mindset" during the sham and rigged interview process! Instead, they selected spouses and friends of the leadership team over the qualified performers for the positions that they know nothing about. How can any of us take this whole customer engagement thing seriously??

Yes your RGMs and BAMs should be able to assist you in the ecosystems, because they know the systems and the customers.....

And both are not top tier oncology companies. Gilead is led by Danny O so be ready for another Genentech/Roche scenario to evolve.

Pretty ironic to be talking about "top tier" oncology companies when the company we work with has just laid off the entire sales force.

What does that say for us or for Roche??????

Exactly. And Danny Boy thinks he is taking his career under Roche to make Gilead better. Not happening

my last pharma company laid off everyone and made it a commission only company. Hired new reps, changed business model, making your socks reference obsolete!
