Abbott Chief Executive Officer Miles White will step down on March 31, 2020, after 21 years in the role. White, who joined Abbott in 1984, will remain Executive Chairman. The healthcare company said Robert Ford, who has been Chief Operating Officer since October 2018 and a 23-year Abbott veteran, will succeed White as CEO.

Heather, while at ADC, did give the thumbs up for Freestyle Libre and also cancelled a lot of useless projects started by her predecessors. She showed some insight in these matters.

It is beyond the time for a qualified woman to be CEO of Abbott! The good old boy culture NEEDS TO CHANGE!

True. Given how little Ricky lied about his education (or lack of) and Miles told everyone to shut up about it and then gave Ricky Abbvie just proves your point about the "good old boys". Bunch of BS if you ask me. I worked at ADC and saw Heather in action...she could lead Abbott.
