Red state governors will open up their state and lift travel and work restrictions while using cdc guidelines.Their economies will rebound. Blue states keep their citizens in lockdown and destroy states economy. NY has a valid reason. In the end Red states have budget balanced and surplus. Blue states will have massive budget shortfalls. Their citizens are getting a hard lesson on socialism by the Democratic Party. By November unemployment in blue states is high and in Red states much lower. Trump wins in massive historic unprecedented landslide. Take that to the bank!
Some states are out of $$, Theres mass layoffs of state workers starting and rightfully so!! No more federal aid to states that choose to lock down.

Trump is far from perfect but how could someone who is not handout-dependent even consider voting for a democrat in this day and age? Especially Biden, who really doesn’t know what day it is, not to mention has been part of Washington dysfunction for about 50 years. Too many people vote with their feelings instead of their brain.

Agree with this. If you work, no way you vote Democrat in 2020. I’ve always voted policy over party. No way you can vote Pelosi’s anti-American policy and/or for a candidate who literally has no idea where he stands on anything. His gaffes were cute a while back, dementia is not.

Instead of addressing OPs question, it looks like you finally got what you wanted: descension into hard core commercials, thinly disguised as rep chatter.

    We're on to you.

This thread has devolved into a CNN v Fox hair-pulling contest, with both sides spewing the mantras of their chosen station.

Reps represent a really unique threat to medical offices. I hate to admit it, but we do. We are in multiple offices each day around nothing but SICK people. They either have something contagious or are fearful of catching something. So, offices are not going to welcome us back with open arms. We're potential germ pools walking all over exposing ourselves to this crap. And if you are in Oncology, forget it. Their patients immune systems are already severely compromised. We have a long road ahead of us.

GILD stock is dead in water. Down $3 from a month ago. Remdesivir is a pipe dream. No more effective than Hydroxychloroquine and the street knows it. Only a fool would fall for the clickbait story’s and think this is a breakthrough. Look at Abbott Labs stock up 52% in last month. $62 to $96 GILEAD is a joke like California and the HCV Reps are now laughed at.

Agreed. Don’t trust the stock market to reflect what is really happening. The printing of huge sums of free money and bailing out the malfeasance of those companies who have engaged in large stock buybacks sets off an alarm bell

In every past stock market crash the only dummies who lost money were the ones that panicked and sold when it crashed. It always came back even higher than what it was when it crashed. Impossible to time bottom but I have been buying over last few weeks and have had amazing returns, i am still down but not as bad. Dollar cost averaging is always smart. Only rookies who don't know what they are doing panic and sell.

Lookie here! I'm one of the people who has been predicting a May 4th return. And looks what's happening! The president is asking for a May 1st re-opening of the the country. Of course you have a few misguided governors who are trying to delay that but they, and you, cannot escape the cold hard facts of what this economic shutdown has already done and potentially will do. Allow me to go one step further. You will never see a shutdown like this again. The economic damage is far too great. There was a statistic I heard last night that said, for every 1% rise in unemployment you have an increase of 10,000 deaths by suicided. Do any of you know what the rise in unemployment was from the time this crisis began? Approximately 6%. Do the math. We've already lost more lives due to suicide than we've lost to the COVID-19. Check me on this but I feel confident that this very sad fact is just that...a fact. This is just one sad statistic that plays out in our current scenario. Our children are now being coined "the lost generation" due to the fact that schools have both shut down and shifted learning to only / parent guided learning. Department of education is saying that most children ages 5 - 12 will be a year behind in reading comprehension. These types of things have far reaching and long-term effects. All of what I have been writing on this thread is coming true. But most of you are so self-absorbed and myopic in your points of view. Get your ego in check and pay attention and I will help to educate you fools.

Can you provide a source for those suicides that are related to unemployment? I could have sworn the President rolled out a phased plan last night that would require multiple steps before the country opened up. I’m not sure that’s the same as saying May 1st as a hard date to open up the country.
