“The thing that I'm really excited about is the team is energized. Look, we've asked people throughout this company to share in the financial pain that is occurring. And if anything, that seems to have brought this team together. People are very, very committed to the overall call -- cause. And I think we come out of this as a stronger company with stronger brands, both in Cologuard.“

That sounds like a really nice sentiment. However, if you are one of the people who is furloughed or laid off, perhaps you feel like you’re doing a little bit more sharing in the financial pain than most of the other folks who are still only giving up a bonus.

Thanks for taking one for the team! We’ll be more stronger because of your hard work and sacrifice before!

“As and when the business picks back up, like we are starting to see with Cologuard, then we'll start to reinvest in the business to support that growth. One of the benefits of this is that, as we come out of COVID, we expect to be a more profitable company than we would have been otherwise. “

Sacrifice is typically voluntary. This is not. This is simply incredible shortsightedness on behalf of the company. And, I agree that the company will be more profitable in the future, because there is no way they are bringing any of us back.

Are you really faulting the company for not predicting a global health pandemic????

Let’s be honest. The people that were laid off and furloughed (soon to be let go) should have never been hired to begin with. They were slackers and their performance showed it. We are finally on the right track and have momentum to finish out 2020 better and stronger than ever. Possibly even profitable. Great leadership by Upper Management.

No, I’m faulting then for expanding when local input said you never needed to.

"Local input said you never needed to"??? What the absolute fuck? You are a fool who thinks they know better than the leaders who are running this company. Why then are you not a C-Suite level exec? Do you think anyone predicted Covid-19 coming in 2020??? Why didn't you speak up LV and warn us all that it was about to change the course of our company's history??? You might want to keep your mouth shut and let us do what we know how to do.

Change the company’s history? This is a Fake Pandemic perpetrated by the Leftist Radical Mainstream Media to win an election. The flu has worse numbers then this. Things will be normal for the majority of the US by Memorial Day.

Right wing douche bag says what?

Take your fake pandemic crap and sell it else where... we really need you to not take it seriously though. Please go out, don't wear a mask, hug and shake hands with as many people as you can. It's people like you who take up too much space on this planet and we all need you to die for the greater good. Better yet, why wait, just go jump in front of a bus or swallow a bullet. You're really not needed. At all.

This is a vile post. I left this S-hole company years ago for a greater opportunity and have never looked back. I can see that ignorant and very disgusting people still exist there. This sounds like Zak? Just saying I can hear his voice in those words. Sounds like something he would come up with. What a shame. I still recommend Cologuard to people because I believe in it but the people IN the company continue to be disgusting. Whoever posted this death wish on another needs to really come out of hiding. Show your true self and ask people to jump in front of bus everyt ime you disagree with them....even this crap company (yep, pun intended) wont tolerate someone like you. Disgusting.

Your immaturity and lack of knowledge shows. Stenhouse and gang brought in "overlays" because ZS said it was needed. The insanity of the layoff and furlough is if they really supported their employees the furlough would have been done by seniority and the last hired the first to go. So, don't say the people laid off and furlough shouldn't have been hired-some of them helped build this company.
