Really! Mgrs are out in field with reps. Offices getting pissed! Jeopardizing health and safety of so many in different areas! This organization needs to re-evaluate many decisions and really take a look at some of these incompetent, inexperienced mgrs they have selected. They have hired some real inexperienced folks since late last year into mgmt roles.

    Face it.
In this environment for the next few years our company needs much less than half of the managers because essentially they will be managing by phone and computer data.
Putting them put in the field actually hurts our business and customer relationships just so they can "check the box" that they were there.
    Save their bloated salaries too!

STFU. What do you expect. The world to shut down because you don’t want your boss with you? We all have jobs to do. Get over it. Most managers are in the field at this point. Loser.

No. No they are not. Managers have absolutely no business traveling with reps at this time. But other companies do not have managers on the road.

This is actually the point. The fact that you have a job to do and go out into the field to "check the box" is totally counterproductive to sales in this new environment.
    Start looking for another job.

So funny to see the way a manager responded. That shows you how weak the managers are here—-self-centered. The customers meaning physicians and offices do not want people in their offices from other areas as they don’t want their patients and staff out at risk. We don’t need the managers at all—they do nothing for us! The STFU response says it all. Low class, entitled, unqualified, incapable managers which cannot positively contribute to the organization at all.

Don’t tell us most managers are out in field. We are out here—-There are none! You come out in field and piss off the customers with your inability to read a situation and self serving attitude. You need some self awareness and honestly I think you are helpless!

Not true with NVS...wife is a manager there and they are not in the field w/reps. All virtual coaching.

Good for your wife! Unfortunately for you, you work for a start up not big PHARMA like your wife. I suggest you go look for a new job because it sounds like you just want to sample dump. Maybe you should look into AGN. It sounds like you would fit in well there.

There mere fact that you lumped yourself in with Sun shows you’re a putz! B&L is not out btw Look be more self aware as an organization—you are only pissing off the customers.

    Gimme a break

You think Aerie should be mentioned in the same breath as NVS and B&L?
It’s a gnat on an elephant’s a** on a really good day. Same for sun.

I have asked almost all of my offices if managers will be allowed. None of them have welcomed this. Think about it... patient’s spouses are asked to wait in the car yet your shiny suited manager will be welcomed in the offices? Lmao! Good luck with that.

I think CoVid has shown that the managers are not needed! There are so many that are providing nothing to the reps or the organization. Many couldn’t sell themselves and have zero management experience and are absolutely confused on their job. This company really should evaluate their management team and their selection process.

Quite the opposite, Reps not needed.

B+L managers have been in the field for months all across the Nation. Depending upon Covid rates and CDC/Travel restrictions you may not have seen one but that is just an exception.
