Stop whining over them. Liquid Biopsy is the Future. Bring it on Illumina and “Grail”!

It makes financial sense to get rid of the exact sciences reps and keep the Pfizer
    Reps.

Pfizer doesn’t want to buy Exact, although they might be interested in CG. They see Exact as the inefficient train wreck that it is, but with a good product. If we get another product or two approved, don’t be surprised if Pfizer takes their reps, and CG, and goes home.

If y'all actually read the contract, which is online, you'd see the part that was extended was the marketing aspect, not the reps.

    What does that mean?

    Here are the basics:

Under the terms of the amended agreement, Pfizer will provide sales and marketing support through the end of 2022 and health system support through the end of 2021. Exact Sciences will compensate Pfizer based on the amount of services provided, along with additional fixed and performance-related fees set forth in the agreement. Exact Sciences will maintain responsibility for all aspects of manufacturing and laboratory operations of Cologuard.

If you actually read the contract, which is online, you’d see the part that was extended was the Marketing AND the Sales. I’m not surprised - despite what our dumbass PMRs seem to think, everyone in the organization knows that Pfizer makes us a better company. The second the agreement ends, our stock price drops $40/share, and we go back to the mediocre, rinky-dink mess that we organically are. We need Pfizer, and our leadership prays every night that they still want us.
