Goals should always be a bit of a stretch in order to push you- I get it but 10 calls a day is so delusional and out of touch. They’re out of their minds. Doing the opposite of motivating for sure.
I must have skipped that class in business school when they said you should always lead your organization towards realistic mediocrity.
No genius, a far better plan is to “reduce” the number of neuro we are focusing on while nearly doubling our call average. Don’t spend more than half a day on neuro but make sure we hit that 10. Set an unrealistic goal to motivate your people. makes sense. Not my fault you skipped classes in “business school” maybe you should go back because clearly you missed a few concepts sweetie.
You must have missed the entire semester because you have driven the stock price completely into the ground.
Either you are saying that you rather still be calling on all 100 neuro targets + 100 ADHD or you don’t understand what we are doing right now. We got 100 new adhd targets to vet. 10 attempts per day on a 2 week cycle. An attempt is counted as a call is if you just simply get information from staff. Meanwhile you also have your ~50 Neuro prescribers(who make up a majority of our calls anyway) to call on each week. So that’s ~20 targets per day. 10 of which are already prescribing Neuro, so calls should come easy. And the other 10 being counted as calls with a very low bar. 10 calls per day is a stretch, but not unrealistic. Maybe you skipped math class.
we were told it counts as a call the first time you go into the new office. But what does “count” even mean...it’s not like it’s in veeva. It’s most likely a forged number that means nothing that we have to report every day so it goes up the ranks to waste everyone’s time and micro manage details that don’t matter. Remember the good old days when we could just sell and be responsible over our own territorys wo being told exactly how we have to do everything and report every time we inhale and exhale?
Launch mode bro. Comes with the territory. Even in the good ole days the micromanaging intensified at launches. You deal with it because good things happen to you when you inhale and exhale the right amount.
