This is how it starts. Good people who can find a job start leaving when the culture turns bad. Ultimately, the only ones who are left are the ones who can’t leave because no one wants to hire them. If you plan to stay at Exact, you don’t want people to willingly leave the company - that’s a bad thing (most companies refer to it as “unwanted turnover”). You’ll not want to be part of what’s left over - it will be even worse than this dumpster fire we’re all a part of right now.

Other companies know we aren’t making bonus target and are underpaid in general. Bring back full bonus! We’ve given up enough and we are out making calls during a pandemic.

For those companies who want ES reps, they are easy to pick off. The socialized pay structure is laughable - it overpays the former ISRs who get 2 years experience and then a $30k raise, and underpays the people who have 10+ years experience. I understand where KC’s heart is at on this issue, but there’s a reason we have turnover we’ll higher than the industry average. The money is better elsewhere for experienced reps.

The only people who think tenure at ES matters are those that are tenured. They are by far the most entitled whiners in the sales force. Get over yourself. Most likely your numbers suck.

You think so? I’ve always thought it was the former ISRs who spent 6 months in the field and then expected a promotion and a $30k raise.

And, whether you like it or not, some companies like experience and accomplishments, even if ES doesn’t. Which, back to my original point, is why ES folks are easily lured away to other companies. You might not think you care, but no one wants to be at a company when you are simply the ones who were left over because no one wanted to recruit you away. That’s a miserable place to be.

PS - my numbers are just fine. And, I actually have a few years’ worth of results when I make that claim. I’m sure you had a good week last week, so you think you’re ready to be a PMR 2.

LOL! PMR's... ISR's... "We are the ones who deserve all the credit for the success of this company" What a joke. If it wasn't for us AM's showing you how to do your job, you would all be on PIP's and on the way out. Quit making phone calls and get in the field!

Folks are leaving left and right. Start looking. Sharpen the resume. Talk to recruiters........
Big Brother will be getting worse. Tracking all field employees is coming quickly.......
This company is run by a bunch of left wing liberal lawyers............... Good grief........

Reps should be tracked and ranked for performance. If you can't take it, sales is not for you. Compete or STFU!

I think sales leaves some autonomy for the salesperson. This is marketing - they tell you who to see, how many times, what exactly to say, etc. You’re a commercial, not a salesperson. Exact’s micromanagement of its “sales force” makes this job suck.

Spoken like a true rookie. Life is going to be hard for you. Go sell advertising if you want to go cold call with autonomy. Pharma and Medical sales will always have targeted HCP's. Go take a job somewhere else and then report back to us when you find this autonomous sales role you so desire. If you are not calling on anyone you want to try to drive the total dirt in your territory, you aren't a good sales person. Are you really only doing what you are told??? Go make some extra calls that may not give you "credit" but you get paid on total dirt. It's on you if you are unhappy here. Move on to another job.
