I was looking for honest feedback as to what an average W2 looks like for a rep w/ 2 years experience calling on urologists. Is 18-20 k a realistic annual bonus everywhere, and what's a reasonable salary? I'm not sure if it's time to evaluate my company and look elsewhere for more money.

I left urology about 3-4 yrs ago and I was making over 40K in bonus in a good yr....base was lower than standard though....around 50K+, that was with 5 yrs experience....left it and went to big pharma oncology...money was even better, haven't made under 120k in 3 yrs.

Doesn't anyone care what we're making for a living? How can so many of you be so apathetic?

    Pharma Urology 120- 130k.
Medical device Urology 120-140k. The most you can make in urology device is around 120k - 140k and the base is 50-60k.

I have plenty of experience in the biz, covering device and pharma sales in large and small territories, sp where do I apply for a job? Could you please give us the names of some companies we could apply to.

    Thanks, its hell out here.

Watson should/could be hiring in the near future. We are potentially growing in numbers, and have several product launches in both urology/women's health. I'd encourage you not to let the Watson posts steer you away, as those posters are more than likely not the folks looking to make the best of any situation.

Best wishes in a tough market.

And no, I will not dignify anyone's stupidity w/ replies to Watson as an option for this job seeker. (No, not management at Watson either. Just an empathetic soul).

You are all p.o.s. I've been making over $200K the last 5 years and livin the high life hommies. Do not try to keep me down either. Sure I bang a lot of the dumb uneducated staff out, but I don't care. The nurses like the huge parties I throw and they throw back a few drinks and it's showtime at the Apollo hommies. All you squids making $120K are big loosers.
