Anyone know anything about Slate Pharmaceuticals??? They have a weak web site.

 

Are definitely beginning to make a name for themselves with how well Testopel is taking off. There are a TON of physicians jumping on board as there's currently NO competition!

 

I had a scheduled interview with the big shot and the morning of the interview (about 2 hrs before) his "girl" called and said he had hired someone...How petty and unfavorable do they look in my eyes? About as low as you can get, that's how low.

Did I stutter? Do you honestly think I don't know how long this product has been around? Um, try since 1972. The history of the product is irrelevant as the fact of the matter is MOST physicians know NOTHING about this type of therapy, or should I say one that is FDA approved that is. Some of the top GURU's in the URO marketplace weren't even aware of Testopel prior to the middle of 2008! ALL are on board today and have been amazed at how simple, effective, and convenient this stuff is for both the patients and doctors!

You may not have shuddered but ur manager did when I asked him why the visual aid had another products information in it! Ahem, one that he refered to as inferior ! Sounds like a politician, saying in one breath that the other product is inferior but not inferior enough to exclude their data from your vis aid!? I bet you were 1st in your training class. wow. so doctors using the pellet are reimbursed more than $0. bfd.

it's a surgical procedure involving lidocaine, a trocar and an open wound. that represents risk that goes way beyond writing a prescription or doing an injection.

what is the benefit for the doctor in actual dollars per minute?

specifically, how much is the reimbursement for the procedure and what is the billing code?

 

It was a fucking joke you dumbass....hell, I even left a wink after it, and you still didn't get it...tell you what, do the research YOURSELF on the CPT code/payment - for a 10 minute procedure nothing else the doc does will make him more $$$ than this...

 

Suspicious that you can't/won't be direct about the cpt code, reimbursement and retail price per pellet. You're deliberately avoiding a direct question. Real device companies post this info on their websites. This is the first question you'd get from a practice manager. Seems fishy.

 

Hit by massive warning letter from FDA for misleading advertising on website. Apparently marketed Testosterone as a fix for just about everything under the sun. Now if you go look at Testopel website it's blank.

Makes you wonder what types of clowns run this joint if they are willing to make outrageous marketing statements and get clamped down by FDA.

Testopel website has ALWAYS been the same way - no changes whatsoever. Outrageous? WTF are you talking about? The FDA warning was along the same lines as all the other letters sent by the FDA, including the one recently sent to Auxilium.

 

incorrect. a lot of text was removed from the site, specifically, most if the text from the description of the workplace, all the information about trt, all info re: the female pellet, the links and contents of the testopel description, and there was also a physician area that is now missing.

your competitive baloney would be easy to forgive if you simply avoided flat out lies. lying about stupid details is really odd...unless your goal is to steer the conversation away from your real pain points.

again, it's really fishy that you won't post info on the cpt code, reimbursement and retail price per pellet. companies always post this info on their websites. tell me these details. i'm dying to call up my blue cross account manager to get their perspective on reimbursing testopel.

are your customers getting audited or finding spotty reimbursement for the product and procedure?

Price varies, anywhere from $48 - $60 per pellet

Reimbursement has been pretty solid and consistent across the board. Also, overall it's cheaper for the patient as there's no monthly co-pay associated with Testopel due to the fact it falls under the MEDICAL benefit, not pharmacy (ie gels).

 

It is an UNLISTED generic code. The offices hate it because they have to go through months of sending paperwork in before they get paid.
Patients still need to pay their office visit amount WHICH IS BASED UPON THE REIMBURSEMENT AMOUNT. It the physician doesn't collect it, they lose money. Du huh.

 

The clinic choosing (or not) to bill for an office visit has NOTHING to do with Testopel and the CPT. Also, the S-code has been paid without any problems in my area with no extra paper work...also, write script, make GOOSE EGG EVERY TIME DUMBASS!
