OB tampon shortage: made by McNeil-division of JnJ

What is the real reason there are no OB tampons on store shelves?

 

I am wondering the same thing. I have been to 2 Wal Marts, a CVS and Shop Rite grocery store and they are all out. I just emailed the company itself and am hoping to get an answer soon.

 

I called OB and they said that whatever is left in the stores is all they will be receiving until they get their manufacturing supplies straightened out.

Some clarification:

1. ob is not produced by a McNeil division. They are produced at a J&J plant in Canada (legacy J&J).

2. The ob products HAVE NOT been discontinued. There is a current shortage due to shipments being stopped until a manufacturing issue was resolved. It has been resolved just recently, so you should see ob back in the stores over the next couple of weeks.
