Exactly. Unfortunately I can no longer call upon my CAM to do things like in-services or bedsides when my schedule doesn't permit. They are simply revenue collector's. Sucks.

 

I hated being a CAM at KCI! I left w/o another job lined up because all this BS was killing me. I now make more than I did at KCI and get paid for every hour I put in. I work far less hours per week than I did while I was working for KCI, and when I am done for the day my time is my own. Have fun next week at the meeting, and even more fun trying to catch up your CAMP once you return.
