From speaking with other sales reps the cold realization is sinking in regarding our sales to Novartis. Our sale to Novartids does nothing to help me better compete against Genpath, US Labs, etc. Howewver, for our high priced Exec team the sale to Novartis allows them to keep their snouts in the trough and continue slurping up extraordinarily high compensation compared to other mgmt teams in the laboratory industry. Do you beleive Quest or LabCorp would have kept these people employed? It turns out like corporate America greed is good and taking care of oneself is the ultimate good. Bravo Tina for having reduced the value of the company stock over the past year to the worst perfroming laboratory stock in 2010 according to the February edition of Laboratory Industry Report. At least you were able to give out jobs out to dear old friends like PeteBob in 2010.
