Has the integration of Thermo with Fisher gone smoothly? What affect, if any, has been noticed in the field? Any gain in marketshare with an instrument line?
I'll let someone else comment on how smoothly the merger has gone and is manifesting... I would say that this should (should have) help boost the UV-Vis products, at least.
Thermo Fisher is a horrible company that employs freaking idiots such as the no brain order taker Fisher reps. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work at this company and deal with the morons for management.
Interesting. Do you feel that is coming more from the Fisher side or the Thermo Electron side? I used to sell instruments at Thermo, and we were not order takers. We had to really sell on the advantages in a competitive field. I am not familiar with Fisher sales.
One thing is for sure about the Fisher Clinical Services Bristol, PA working for the general manager (James Benkendorf) is sickening. He has no idea what he is doing. He has no respect for his employees. Anyone who is thinking about joining this company please think about your health and stay away from this place. Trust me... you will be sorry!
