When is this drug expected to hit the market. I know the FDA has set Feb 2011 to be the PDUFA date, but when will we start selling this? Any ideas on this???

Also, will Pain and AI-GI be carrying this one?

Good luck at the pharmacy level with auto sub and high co-pays at 3rd tier. I am confident that your doctor will be waiting at the front door to hear your compelling clinical information on a very very old drug, repackaged ..... Now that inovation on display.

Launched Aciphex. It was Fast & Consistent. Why in God's name would you need an Aciphex ER? If Aciphex is 20mg QD, what will Aciphex ER be? Take once a month and call me next year?

Yes, like once a month BONIVA. Perhaps Sally Field can co-promote the two drugs together.// Kind of like the taco bell/pizza hut places all lumped into one! What a joke

You are being trained for the dog drug? stop this stupid lie.

J&J has not set a rep for Aciphex for a long time, why now to sell ER? Do you have too much money to burn?

Only the stupid Eisai thinks it is a great drug. IT IS A DOG, DOG, DOG...

Not for long. If you guys are banking on Aciphex ER to get any kind of traction you are crazy. I sold Aciphex for a few years and Aciphex was already on its way down when i was selling it. Doctors and drug RX plans are not going to put this drug on any formulary unless it is on 3rd tier. J&J is doing the same thing that Abbott did and that is just rehashing old drugs and packaging them differently and hoping that they get a few more scripts before they realize that they aren't making any money on them. Just talk to the Abbott reps that got let go just a couple of weeks ago they won't pump any more money into the drug just blame you for the drug not doing well and cast you off. I'm sorry that J&J doesn't have a good pipeline but the writing is on the wall. They have to rehash Aciphex just by putting an ER next to it and selling it like its a new drug, well face it its not. This used to be a great company with a lot of potential but because of bad management and poor decisions J&J is heading in the wrong direction.

Actually, it is Eisai that is responsible for Aciphex ER.

How hard is it to sell a drug on all formularies? Aciphex is a good drug if you couldn't sell it, maybe you should go be a customer service rep for AZ and sell Nexium...

It doesn't have good coverage everywhere.

someone is a little protective over the one little drug they sell. fyi i sold the shit out of aciphex in my day & aciphex does not have good coverage every where. seems like you drink the kool aid and really think this is the greatest thing this company has produced. in case you were not aware there are many otc products that people would much rather purchase, why would you launch an Er when those are still very much market share leaders??
jnj has nothing else out there and they keep re launching the same shit over and over. its going to happen, enjoy your kool aid though.
