well, none of those people, but I think an IT guy and maybe one person from the cleaning staff have left. mass exodus taking place. you really need to stand clear of the front door of the building to make sure that you don't get run over.

actually, let me save everyone the trouble and I'll just write the next few likely responses:

    1) fu glassmans
    2) you guys "cook the books" and the SEC is gonna throw you in prison, i can't wait!
    3) home office is classless, I mean, my holiday check isn't even direct deposited
    4) it doesn't matter, we're either going to get sold to an indian company or stiefel
    5) Veregen is TID, no! that means it won't sell itself!

If these people are not leaving, they need to get their heads examined. In a buyout situation, the buyer will look to gain synergies/efficiencies. Some direct savings will be from head-count reductions, many of which will be from the home office of the acquired company.

I wish everyone the best in what will likely be a tough situation.

So, seems like a smart company Nycomed. Exactly what did they buy at Bradley. The Bradley Trilogy? Ass Creams? Hmmmmm. Wise buy. Merry Christmas.

Just heard some of the Bradley/ Pharmaderm employees is moving into 210 Park Ave. in Florham Park, NJ ,the old Altana Pharma-US scientific headquarters. Hear it from the horses mouth.

Yeah, I am talking to an animal like yourself, stupid. I was informed from an employee who is currently at the Florham Park location.

The company officially acquired Bradley in April of 08. To top that off in June 09 they relocated their CS department to PA. Now there might even be a bigger shakeup to come either before the end of 09 or in the beginning to middle of 2010.

Perhaps there might be a HUGE change in the Long Island office. Keep your eyes peeled.

Second round of layoffs at Hicksville/Melville plants are underway as of this morning. Big meeting for all staff scheduled for March 10.
    I smell swansong.

Nycomed batch rejection rate at +10% for last 12 months, due to incredibly obtuse QA Dept.
    and flawed expansion plan.
FDA inspection in December was a disaster. Not an attractive company for suitors.

What does everyone think of CrestHollow next week? Big announcements?

Supposedly a congratulatory luncheon, but their word means nothing.
Employees need to make up the time taken for the luncheon, or they can burn a vacation day.
"Congratulations! You have to work an extra 4 hours this week!"
    This company is pitiful.

They're rearranging the deck chairs....some demotions, some promotions. Some management and HR personnel are sending out their resumes. They're selling company vehicles. And they emphatically tell the hourly employees that everything is fine, which is disingenuous at best.
They had a very poor FDA inspection in December, warning letters should be arriving later this month.
