Have you ever stopped to think that Bert leaving has something to do with the fact that as the number 1 rep he made a bonus worthy of a rep in last place in BIG PHARMA.. Give the guy some credit.. he's been in this industry long enough to realize that as an entire sales force continues to struggle quarter after quarter to cover its own expenses it doesn't matter what success he has in his territory, the contract as a whole is going to go under...You think anyone who had the opportunity to jump ship wouldn't? A little late here, but I didn't think Bert was a tool. A tool is someone who says your garden smells great after the boss sh*ts in the flowerbed. The only thing Bert did was smile at work and kept his complaints to himself. In an industry where personel are a dime a dozen, that isn't being a tool, that is being smart. He left for better pay and more opportunity. The same reason everyone leaves their job for another. Good luck to him.
