    I like 56 !

All I know is I made out last year pretty damn good $$. I just came back from a great reward trip - FIRST CLASS. And, they give me a truck to drive. What's not to like? Can't say a goddam bad word.

I think the bonuses are for livestock reps selling the Alpharma feed additives. K'Ching.

Pfizer has bigger territories account wise then Merial. Even if sold to Elanco, we need the reps. Distributors don't promote products, just take orders.

What's your point? You think the buying company will keep all Pfizer reps because they do promote products? What other company has two reps in the field in the same territory? This is a Pfizer philosophy that will not be adopted by the new company. It's all about the mighty dollar and half of us will lose our job!

What I was trying to say is, even though our 2 rep philosophy of calling on accounts will probably change, our territories will be reduced and we will carry the whole bag.

Not likely. The function of multiple reps covering a territory is based upon the sheer number of products we carry. With Dx, we're getting more.

ok, here is the deal. Tell me a better company to work for right now? Bayer - nope, Merial - nope, Novartis - nope. You can make a good salary, a good bonus, and great benefits. Ride the wave for a while longer!

That is exactly what the other companies do not want: Reps happy with high salaries, good benefits, and no work ethic.

Do you read? Why would the FTC or ETTC allow Intervet and Pfizer AH to merge? They would not allow Intervet and Merial merge. The cross-over with Intervet and Pfizer AH is even worse!

Elanco and BI both pay more with the same benefits

I think it could be divided in half and sold to two different parties. Look at the grouping of operations.

We are not going to be sold to another company. If we are sold, it will be to a private equity firm. No jobs lost.

Thanks Clint for the words of wisdom especially since you will be taken care of if we are sold!

I think there will be minimal loss of jobs with anything that happens. The failed Merial and Schering-Plough merger was a good indicator of the unwillingness of the regulatory bodies to allow a super company to form, so my opinion is that when Pfizer is moved, it will be to a company that is truly complementary in product range.

The pay at BI is better than Pfizer, at least for me. But the benefits suck. Twice the cost for half the coverage. But the higher base, larger bonus, and a management team that doesn't have their heads in their asses is well worth the trade off.

Do you think generic fipronil will hurt revolution? I wish I had the other side of the bag, but curious if people think this could help (FDA) revolution and PH6 or hurt.
