Good for you! I am already former convatec and work for another wound care company. Taking some nice business from my former employer--lovin' it! and, don't worry about the non-compete if you go that route, too. the buffoons in Skillman aren't going to come after you.

the exodus of tms continues unabated at convatec as wise and able sales people realize that a rewarding career, happiness, and fair compensation no longer exist at this toxic pawn of vulture capitalism. a year ago i bid fond farewell to this wreckage of a company not knowing what my future held embarking on a new sales career with an uknown company. happy to say that my income increased 20 per cent in one year with 2011 looking just as fine as the year ending. do not despair all of you who dread mondays working for this wicked company as many fine opportunities elsewhere are opening up. those of us that have fled the sadists in skillman wish the many of you seeking happiness and prosperity again a very happy new year--made more happy once you are convatec free at last.

And you're the same silly, loser SOB who from time to time posts drivel on how wonderful it is to work for Convatec, blah, blah, blah. Your moronic writing style is very obvious, and very comical, please keep your "ideas" coming. Say, is it true you were recently made our newest 59th VP in charge of the antebellum graveyard outside 100 Headquarters? Probably more ideas emanating from the dusty craniums of those folks than from Popeye, MD, BB, and the other pseudo-einsteins in skillman combined!

If you still work for Convatec, I applaud your making EVERY effort to leave, as you represent what antibiotics were invented to cure and what nobody wants to catch.

Thanks Popeye...Happy New Year to you, too!

BTW, I already left this enlightened company a few months ago.

    Love ya,

Came back to glance over the Convatec Cafe postings and was wondering if it is true that a lot of excellent TM's recently left? Heard that the Northeast was especially hit with the departure of some really fine TM's. Is this true? So many better companies to work for paying more money than Convatec--and treating people with respect. Respect for the TM is something that vanished from convatec ehrn Nordic/avista took over in 2008. Who left and more importantly who's left from the older, better days of Convatec?

I left Convatec a few months ago, and I am making DOUBLE what I made there. I am sooooo happy I left and wish everyone happiness whether you find it at Convatec or a new company. Yes it is 3pm here, yes I am finished for the day, and yes my boss knows I am done for the day. NO MORE ORION for me! LOL Fact is if somebody from Convatec wants to leave, the odds are the grass will definately be greener on the other side. I stopped feeling appreciated at Convatec so I made the decision to take my services elsewhere like many others. For those of you who left and posted encouragement, I say thanks, I am glad you did. Oh and before somebody starts bashing me, I was a multi year award winner, and if you love Convatec, that is good too.

Good for you--I think I know who you are and you were indeed an excellent TM. I got out a little before you did, broken hearted that Convatec had so completely crumbled as a viable player in advanced wound care. New management became more interested in squeezing every penny from the TMs, allowing misfit RSMs free range in brutalizing us, all the while unaware that our Marketing Dept was rife with clueless and destructive dolts. Like you, making alot more money elsewhere though I do miss the times when Convatec was the class of the industry. Those wonderful days are gone never to return to this dying company. Again, best of luck to you, friend, and to the many of you about to get out (I am in contact with quite a few of you and wish you God Speed, too!).

What a refreshing message! I, too, was very successful at Convatec earning my share of recognition. This company was a delight to work until the Dark Times arrived with Nordic and Avista. The horror so many of us endured was astonishing and yet wonderful opportunities do exist away from Convatec. Like you, no more Orion nonsense (meaningless drivel for the most part), home early when I want to, no micro managing, and I make great money. I was blessed to have worked for Convatec when it was a great company and blessed to have moved on when this company grew toxic. Be well Convatec buddies, past and present---and good luck getting out!

Lots of companies don't really give a darn...but Convatec seems to have been one of the worst when it came to preserving its core of tenured, strong, successful TMs. Like anywhere else, some Convatec TMs were not always that good, and their departure, whether forced or voluntary, was expected.

But when the soul of this company was allowed to leave without so much as a whimper from Skillman, you knew those in charge were and still are utterly clueless and brainless. Think of some of the fine TMs who've left and whose presence was a source of pride for Convatec: SH from St. L, CK, AU, TF, SM, KK, BH from the Bay Area, AH from D.C., SW, BA, Matt N, LS from N.Y., BK from NYC, Brice, and how many others can you think of? Doubtless, good people move on, but so many from this company was indicative of the problems which have only gotten worse. Quite sad. Leaving soon myself as it makes no "cents" remaining here.
