I understand the company is 100% commission. I have no problem with that. However, what is the potential earning range for an average territory? Also, is it 100% commission from day 1 or do you start with a salary and faze it out over time. One more thing, why a smaller car allowance for the first 6 months? Don't they understand that the wear and tear on my car is the same for months 1-6 as 7-12?
    Thanks

Potential for earning is $0 to $0. Shitty product nobody will use itmore than once if you're lucky enough to trick someone into trying it.

The products are good, Desara is a great sling and is better than most on the market with reusable trocars, great selling point. Desara will beat any price, that's key. Ascend a little tougher sell but it is one of the lighest weight meshes out there which is what doctors want due to mesh erosion. If you have Urology or OB/GYN relationships, try it, you could make 100 to 120 after 2nd year, first year 60 to 80, just depends how quick you can change physicians to use yours. If you have a rural area hit those first bigger companies don't pay attention to these doctors, and most other reps have the whole state and many other products and don't have time to hit the rural areas, then go for the bigger accounts. Just some advice.

Caldera business model is inherently flawed and getting worse. Saturating markets with one more than one sales rep = diminished income for both reps. What you sell today becomes baseline tomorrow. The comp plan is based on growth. Eventually you will run out of real estate. Before that happens you will run out of surgeons (especially the high volume implanters) willing to try your product. The situation is even worse if you've already had a number of Caldera knuckleheads in your territory before you inherit it. Turnover is rampant.

Due dilligence people. Ask the tough questions.

Very true. Caldera is known by most Drs who've seen the 7th rep in the last year as "a cheap mesh company selling on price only". The mesh sucks. It's only good for cash pay patients if that. Caldera probably has less than 1% of the market anywhere and that's after pushing this crappy mesh for years. Turnover at Caldera is worse than McDonald's. It's a joke in every aspect.

Lighter mesh? Give me a break. By what? 1,000th of a percentage? Do you really believe Uros are super excited to hear that? Hardly a Feature/benefit. Caldera's only message is "it's super cheap" Guess what Uros DO care about? Efficacy. Not cheap. nice try.

The previous poster is correct. It's a zero-sum game. If you work for Caldera in your territory for over a month, you will likely be the longest rep they've had. It's hard to ask former reps because no one is around.

If you are seriously considering working for Caldera, just know, you are in for a very short and hungry 1-2 months like every other rep.

Last time I checked, our mesh is as good as anyone else's. Our efficacy is as good as any of the big boys. If you can't sell this, it's your problem. mesh is mesh.

Yes, it is the same mesh as other companies and the fact of the matter is it is a smaller company going after the big boys business and in time it will do that. We have a great sling Desara, that has heat treated edges and lies flat under the urethra, just had a doctor today say how well he thought the sling was and the fact that the shape and integrity of the mesh was better than AMS one he had been using, so whoever is putting crap on here is mad cause they can't do much with their pricing like Caldera can, lol. We have reusable trocars as well which doctors love not the junk plastic rubber ones in the other company's kits that you throw away and sometimes bend in the middle of a surgery. Get the facts before you run your mouth, thanks.
