Chemists. We've gotten so comfortable at doing nothing that we've become lazy at home. if the projects should come back, it would take us a long time to get back up to speed. We've lost all motivation. I don't like it but got used to this comfortable lifestyle.
Not a single department is unaffected. If employees had something to do, most would be doing it, albeit reluctantly. Many are looking for jobs and leaving; the rest are waiting for a buyout or to be let go with a severance package. The zombies are everywhere and there are not enough brains to go around.
They got us all excited about the long weekend then came news about equipment and office furniture liquidation. Anyone with more information?
You are so right. Management can sell anything they want under one condition....keep auto deposit my pay check.
I don't get the freak out over selling unused equipment and office stuff. You would prefer it sit around, unused? We have had downsizing and have excess. Getting rid of it will not save the company, but it's better than letting it just gather dust. I think you are just looking for things to get upset about. You still have equipment you need to do your jobs, right? so shaddup
